The only thing I can notice it had was the stock... but if you're refering to that, I do like that stock for sure...

Nice guns! I always notice that I end up going back to the same style of guns again and again... I usually try to rationalize it by saying 'It is an updated version' or 'It is a different model'.

MestHead February 25th, 2007 23:02

Can you post a side picture?

Xepharo February 25th, 2007 23:08

Didnt take any side pics X_x, but I'll take one later on this week.
The first actually has a real KAC RAS II on it :D That's why it was more sexy.

MrEvolution February 25th, 2007 23:21

Make sure you get some lens protectors for the actual crosshair part of the lens for when its open.

wey ferro February 25th, 2007 23:30

i think the new one would look alot better if you moved the light back to the rails.
and yeah i could tell that wasnt as junk..the barrel looks better too.

Polo609 February 25th, 2007 23:51

Ok i want to know how did the vltor stock feel on the buffer tube. Was it loose or a good fit? Sexy guns btw.

Xenos-Fear February 26th, 2007 01:51

Man, I miss my armalite ! :( I wish I could have another one bro ! Nice setup ! Real nice one man ! Can't wait to see it in person ! You too by the way ! LOL

yanhchan February 26th, 2007 05:54

That stock is definately the sexyest stock ever!!!!!!

Xepharo February 26th, 2007 12:26

The Vltor stock was on a Marui buffer tube. It was not too loose, but a bit tight. However, after a while, it was pretty smooth.

Xenos, what gun do u have now?

Got a L85A2 STAR. Nice gun though but... miss some rails to mount some stuff.

Too much shit on it, in my opinion.

What is that LAM unit? Does it do anything special besides the laser to justify its size?

Tex February 26th, 2007 14:31

Echo USA 1 PEQ2 battery holder no laser, just battery for gun.

Styrak February 26th, 2007 14:37

There's WAY too much shit on that gun.

Xepharo February 26th, 2007 15:58

Ehh, besides the flashlight, I dun't see how the rest of the accessories are what you guys referred to "shit".

Every gun I've seen here has a PEQ2 for battery, vertical grip, aimpoint, and a BUIS. Don't see any problems with that.

Yo Xepharo I am glad to see you still addicted to legos in the
first post you made in that pic. LOL I love em ha ha ha.

Xepharo February 27th, 2007 23:15

legos make me smart, legos rock ahhaha

swatt13 February 28th, 2007 00:49

i like the fade you did on the rail covers, gives it a nice touch. howd you do it?

dead_aim February 28th, 2007 04:11

xepharo question, bit off topic but how do you find CA AR's to TM AR's??

philstructo February 28th, 2007 04:14

Nicely done im an M4 guy my self I have one with out all those gizmos

[Lithium] February 28th, 2007 20:20

That LAM is where his battery is, or atleast im pretty sure.

Xepharo March 1st, 2007 18:56

1) Yes, the LAM is where the battery is, and you can see the red and black wires coming from it and into the rails.

2) I find CA Armalite's quality to exceed TM Armalites, because I have owned both. For the price, I'd go for Classic Army.
I just shot around 500 rounds through it yesterday. Everything was smooth, not one single jam. I do Semi-auto double taps and Auto with 3 burst fire. For those who said Classic Armys are bad.. they're not. They sell better here in US than the Marui ones.

3) As for the rail covers, I used Krylon CAMO tan.
I did it with a 45 angle and about 2-3 feet away from the rail covers. I spray it diagonally.

I have a guarder m16 cylinder, guarder piston + head, and a sp110 spring... just too lazy to open it and install it right now hahah.
Oh by the way, the hopup bucking problem has been fixed.

Blackhawk_Leader March 1st, 2007 19:57

hahahahaha. That looks like it's just over 8 pounds. Not heavy at all.

Xepharo March 2nd, 2007 00:24

I dunt even know why a bunch of you are complaining about the weight?!?!
All I added on the CA M15A4 RIS was a LE stock, madbull RAS extender, MI front sight RIS, RIS panel covers, PEQ, and a vertical grip ?!?! Aimpoint isn't heavy either.
Did ASC turn to a club of girls? LOL j/k

Godlyspartan March 2nd, 2007 03:56

Your old gun was waay cooler only because there was Lego accessories.
Though your new armalite is just as sexy.
