Airsoft Lee Enfield

This gun is turning into my El dorado (every one talks about it, but can't seem to lead me to it). I saw a shoot n' scoot one a long time ago but then nothing after that. Anybody want to enlighten me as to where one would purchase one of these bad boys? Price doesn't matter, quality matters. Thanks for your help.

you could always get a real steal one and just blow BBs down the barrel

pounce_the_jaguar May 12th, 2007 07:23

HAhAHAH now thats a funny suggestion. Thanks for the links boys.

pounce_the_jaguar May 12th, 2007 07:33

so in other words your saying i have no chance

Cheese May 12th, 2007 10:43

You can always try to customize one hehe good luck

Coma May 12th, 2007 12:20

If you can buy just the stock and put the workings from your favorite bolt action in there, its possible.

pounce_the_jaguar May 12th, 2007 15:53

ahh but the bolt action is what i want, the quickness of it all.

[Lithium] May 13th, 2007 06:42

what hes saying is to buy two things.. the wooden stock of the rifle, and a bolt action rifle that is readily available.. transfer bolt action from airsoft gun to stock of lee enfield, and voilah.

pounce_the_jaguar May 14th, 2007 02:11

ahh i see. where would one purchase such materials? just order an enfield and ask them to ship it dismantled?

attack-beaver May 14th, 2007 02:27

i think you could find some old enfield guts. a company i cant remember the name as reproduced the No.4 MK1 in .308 so maybe finding parts could be easier .

pounce_the_jaguar May 15th, 2007 03:05

I can find the parts, i know a place that would sell me a super used enfield for a decent amount of money, its just making it work that boggles me.

Lerch May 15th, 2007 03:46

Well you'd have to find a sniper rifle that resembles the No4 in action, so large open breach, angled bolt, and perhaps a magazine. Once you've got that, take it apart to the bare working minimum and see how it fits onto a No4 receiver. Start milling and DIY the fit. Hell, I dunno but you may be able to use an original barrel depending if it was blocked or not.

pounce_the_jaguar May 15th, 2007 04:06

tis true, tis true haha this is turning into more of a DIY project then i expected.

Lerch May 15th, 2007 04:26

Well of course :D Making a gun in airsoft that has no previous construction (other then other custom builds) is always gonna mean work work WORK!

pounce_the_jaguar May 15th, 2007 04:43

haha fun times. now to find out how an airsoft bolt action works, and how to use a stripper clip to load bbs...

pounce_the_jaguar May 15th, 2007 04:45

I have the urge to say the next gun i want is an airsoft polish pre nazi VIS

Lucrius May 15th, 2007 12:38

pounce_the_jaguar May 15th, 2007 16:04

Or if you're rich, there's the KTW Enfield #4:
http://www.wwiiguns.com/shop/products.php?p=ee7afe (For God's sake don't buy from here - Miki Nakamura runs this place - just do a search for "PropsCanada" on this site if you want to know more about his shady business dealings.)
