Export restricted by the U.S. State Department. Magpul, VLTOR, Surefire, Colt, ARMS, Blackhawk, Crye, EoTech, Knight's Armament are only some of the items we have difficulty getting this side of the border.

Not impossible, just difficult to very difficult depending on the item. If it's in current use by the U.S. military as a contract item, then nearly impossible.
