Safariland Holster
 

Hey guys,

I'm currently building a MEU(SOC) pistol and I intend to get a Gemtech lanyard, M3 style tactical light and a pistol holster.

I know the USMC issued pistol comes with a Surefire IMPL but to be honest I don't like the IMPL look.

So my question is the following;

Knowing that the MEU (SOC) pistol comes with a Safariland 6004 specialy designed holster that is able to carry the IMPL, I wish to get a similar holster, if possible by Safariland or a chinese knockoff that would be able to carry an M3 style tactical light.

Do you guys know of any Safariland or chinese knockoff holster able to carry a 1911 style pistol with an M3 style tactical light mounted on it??

Thanks for the link dude but I've been there already, Safariland doesn't sell online and doesn't give much specifications as well. I still have no clue if the 6004 can fit an M3 as well.

Contact R Nichols distributors, they carry safari kit, and will custom order.

Tell them the model of pistol and light (ie do you have an M3, or M3x?) and they will order the correct holster for you.

Be warned the M3x holster also fits the M6x, leading to a slightly looser fit in the holster than one would imedeatly expect from a safari holster.

I think that is actually the M3x...

I got the same one. I'm afraid it's crap.
The bulb is OK, but the body is not. Especially the swich that keep falling off. I had to super glue it in place, wich is not the best thing on earth for the kind of use it get.

A realsteel Insight M3x costs 130$us. I know it's not much but I find it's quite alot for a 400$ airsoft pistol! :P

And I've already placed my order....oh well. I'll just use that one until it dies then will buy a real steel baby.

Get the King Arms M3x, its the cats ass and accepts Surefire 6v bulb assemblies (wooo I've got me a 120 lumen pistol light).

As I stated in the other thread, it must depend on who you get on the phone. I was told emphatically "we no longer ship to Canada" about 6 months ago.

huang, if it can fit a 1911 with an M3 and if it can be gotten in Tan or OD, I'm a buyer.

1911 model will be availabe in a month or two. Currently he only has M9, P226 model. I remember the holster can accormadate a light. I may check out after work. Only black so far.

I don't think so. What the heck, the real SERPA jams? No complaint so far for the China SERPA jamming. The product has been in the china market for over a year already.

Lotsa reports of the BHI Serpa jamming when dirty, and causing Negligent discharge during Draw/Holstering. Not a knock to your product, just a general issue with the Serpa design.

I have the real M3 and the one you order...they are similar BUT the end cap is loose and can unscrew it self...probably a o ring with help. But the real M3 is wayyyy better.

If you have the chance to get a M6 on Ebay at around 130 to 175 US. this is a good product but you need to get the right holster as a 6004 that fit a M3 will not work. So choose the right 6004. Also, the 6004 is a dream come true like a hot knife in butter...especially to secure a GBB..

deltastrike, after double checking your site, I found out I could only get the holster in black :( It seems like cops don't like OD or Tan.

Sorry man. Just like the M910 flashlight, the manufacturer won't do it because handful of people want Tan

Yeah, I'll go to Nichol's and order myself a genuine safariland...for like 200$ :confused:

The only things missing for my ParaSOC are the 2 extra mags, a Gemtech lanyard and that Safariland holster.

My Safariland for 1911 with Surefire 310r costed me just a bit less than 140$ shipped to my door and that's from Nicholls so I don't get how you got your 200$ price.

I've picked up Two Safariland 6004's for under 60 bucks each on Ebay. Both in excellent condition as well. If you're patient you'll find what you want there.
