Crye Multicam
Whats the difference between CRYE and MULTICAM?
Exemple: I'm buying a Multicam set. For the vest the only option i have is CRYE. Is that the same as Multicam? Or a variation? Will it go well with a Multicam uniform? Thx :) |
Crye is a manufacturer. I believe they were the ones who created multicam.
|
correcto, Crye is the Original producer of the multicam fabric.. If its real multicam, itll have a label..

Cool so the gear will have the real stuff.
|
Ok another question. Which color is better to go with Multicam?
Black, Camo, Olive Drab, Desert Tan Also, is the color Coyote a better choice? (it's not always available). I'm looking for knee and elbow pads to go with my Multicam gear. |
Look on ebay for multicam. They have just about anything and everything including multicam pads
|
I don't buy from ebay. Got scam and lost enough money already.
|
Coyote and Ranger green work best with Multicam.
Tactical Assault Gear makes both coyote and ranger green ;) |
I went with a multicam ciras vest to go with my multicam, but OD or Ranger will work too if you have other BDU sets.

Got it from Extreme Tactics, don't think it's a real Phantom, only paid $280.

Ahh ok its the bulle i think, the pouches aren't right for the Phantom, and its not the Milspex CIRAV bastard child
|
The mag pouches are Tactical Taylor add on's, they can hold either 3 M4 or 2 M14 mags. I like to carry lots of mags, 25 in total.

well i prefer tan (i feel khaki is TOO light for it) multicam is a yellowy base, replicam is a more whitish/ khaki tan ish base. but od or ranger go bettery and easier with it. ranger being the best.

Way off topic here: but can you see through those goggles? Is it just like a tint?

...and your SA80 :P |

yuh, its basically a tint kinda thing. |
just a stencil that goes on over the lens... kinda like looking through a bug screen, it takes some getting use to, kinda gave me a head ache for a bit, but once you train your eyes to look past it, you dont notice it, it also works the same as tinted lens', reduces glare and flash... theyer actually a good idea/ buy.
dont worry lerch, im trying very hard not to sell my l85 in paying for my systema ptw (im even selling my coveted custom xm8 before it!!!) but if it comes down to it, youve got first dibbs lol. |
And it saves buying a replacment lense for scratches just spend the $10-$20 and get a replacement sheet that can do 2 sets of bollies
