problem with 007airsoft
 

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and just want to introduce myself. I'm from moose jaw saskatchewan, not to sure if there are any other people interested in airsoft around the area.

I'm also relatively new to the airsoft world and I am beginning to love it.

Anyway, I arranged for ken to order a ksc glock23 for me, he agreed, saying delivery would take 4-6 weeks from payment. I paid immediately using paypal, Ken confirmed receiving the funds :). Well 6 weeks later, no gun, and no replies from ken from over a week. I'll be filing a dispute with my credit card and getting the funds back, but suffice to say I was really looking forward to picking up this glock. Anyway, I was wondering If anyone knew anything that might shed some light on what may or may not have happened, and If there are any other suppliers in Canada where I could pick up a nice KSC gas blow back like this one.

I pre-ordered a gun from Mark, he took payment, a little nervous, emailed him asking when I should expect delivery of gun.

Next thing you know, I get a delivery confirmation of shipment from Canada Post.

I should be getting the stuff I ordered this friday.

The order was placed on 14 Jul 07, if my memory serves me correct.

The packages were shipped out on 29 Jul 07.

He seemed to be on top of his game, it would make quicker shipment if you order a gun in stock.

well to import guns into Canada can take 4 - 6 weeks but it all matters when he makes an order.

NO DONT FILE A DISPUTE! Seriously, i had an order from him and it dident show up but yet i couldent get ahold of him for the last week. I send a few emails and phonecalls and nothing. However i just received a email back from him today stateing that he was away until today. He says he had my stuff so im sure he has yours too. Try emailing or phoneing him tommorow and i guarantee you that he will respond to you.

You'll get your gun from Ken, Towlie. He's totally reliable.

Dude. That was probably just an estimate. Many things can happen to stall the gun getting to him, like customs and availability. It's not his fault.

It's just like ebay! Wait at least a week or two BEFORE complaining of being ripped off!

ken is a respected company! A search of the forums has many reviews on 007airsoft and I dont think I've read a bad one yet.

Im telling you phone him. its worked for me before, And its not like an email. There is no wait for a response. I got an email from him today and saying he was away for the last week so thats why you couldent get ahold of him.

Well actually there was the one that i posted in today. it was pretty negative against ken because no one could contact him and no one got there stuff. However my post made a nice happy ending for that thread. LOL

Yes I did try calling the number posted on his website earlier on in the day today, Its a little late to try calling now. But is there another number/specific time I can reach him at? going away on holidays on the 11-19 of august so a little strapped for time :O

It's awesome. Very heavy for a smallish pistol (It's the small version of the P226 if you didn't know) and hard kick along with a lot of power.

You'll get your goods, Kens good stuff, hes a busy man with alot on his hands and a life outside of trying to supply all our needs and demands, but in the end he always comes through.

I have got stuff from ken countless times bbs and mags mostly nd he is 100% relyable

Okay I found the same glock 23 on Anderson and Anderson for $269.00. I'm going to try and get ken to match this price and refund me 100 dollars :P, If he doesn't well, damn.

So the refund would actually be 45$ :D

I don't think he will. I wouldn't after a sale has been made.

It's up to you to shop around and find the best prices unless the vendor has some sort of "lowest price guaranteed" policy.

Stokes, and I will most likely place our PTW orders with him. I've known Ken for sometime, and he's an outstanding guy. If you can't wait, don't shop there. Simple.

Also, his prices are damn good (guns). I doubt he charged you 400 for a KSC glock. That's what I paid for my WA SVIX (which is terribly hard to find).

News: Turns out that my order was delayed, and ken expects it in 2 weeks time. Deffinately not what I wanted to hear. Wont be here when and if it arrives, and I won't be able to file a dispute at that time. slightly dissapointed.

I've an order with Ken which doubles that total. I have complete trust and faith in him. I've been waiting 9 weeks (to this day actually) and I also have had no communication from him for the past two or more weeks (although he did respond to my less important email yesterday, but not the one about the status of my order, yet).

Unless something's actually in Stock, you're best to assume that it isn't going to arrive in the 4-6 week range. When I ordered my G36C from him, it was "supposed" to arrive at the four week mark, but took three months instead. Don't worry, he deals with thousands of dollars worth of orders; he isn't gonna take your $400 and make a mad dash for Mexico.

It'll come, just be patient, and don't blame him for the response time of his suppliers, their shippers, Canada Customs, and Canada Post.

Got an Email today from Ken saying that my Jing Gong M4 is being shipped out today but I'll have to wait on my AK Beta. Good news as well as bad but all in all I'm a happy man.

Heh, I thought the gun alone cost 400.

Its all well in good that hes trustworthy, But 3 months for a gun, I'm not prepared to wait that long, thats rediculous. But I suppose beggars can't be choosers.

ya dude, when you have only two retailers in all of Canada, not to mention the fact that these items aren't exactly easy to get into the country. be prepared to wait a long time.
i also have a KSC glock 23 which i got from Specarms three months before the raids. the HW frame is amazing, and full auto is a blast. just be patient, and read up on info about your new gun, as so when you get it you don't do some dumb things to it, i know i did :( (damn fire select switch)

Right, well.. was it listed on the "in-stock" page? If not, he had to order it for you, which takes a bit of time.

:(. and Kos, he has nothing instock but accessories and consumables.

does 007airsoft carry that gun? i browsed the site abit but couldn't find that model. just wondering because i don't remember seeing it on the site and was thinking maybe he could order guns that aren't adversited on the site.

if it's instock at wgc, then he can order it for you.

ya, if you ever take the slide apart do it on a bed comforter or some thing where things wont bounce. inside the fire select swich is a tiny, and i mean tiny ball baring. i dropped mine, saw it bounce once on a laminate floor, then never again.

Like Nik12 said, he can order anything off of WGCshop's site as long as it's in stock. For most of the Jing Gong's you'll be looking at $400 after tax and shipping.

And at $400 for a JG, it's not much of a leap to $500-$600 for a nice TM/ICS/CA.

007 buys their airsoft from an importer, they don't get much of a discount so they have to make their profit somewhere.

alright thanks for that info. i guess the price is justifiable since it probably costs 007 so much just to get certified to sell airsoft in canada.

Insurance? Wha? Wouldn't that only be if it was lost in the mail?

Also, I don't really think that works on Ken, because it was an ESTIMATE, not a set in stone written in blood warranted promise.

Hey Blood sport sounds good, That would give me more pull around these parts as a newbie :D . I ordered a KJ G32 from mark at A&A to keep me satisfied while I wait for ken. I guess my order from him was delayed because whatever supplier he started with happened to be out of stock, so he had to reroute it from another. What can I say, I'm a fan of Glocks :P

The goods I ordered from A&A arrived just now.

The Canada Post delivery date was today and it arrived today.

Overall I am impressed with A&A, having not dealt with others for the time being, but I will definitely order more stuff from Mark.

That TM G17 is sure looking sweet and only 1 left in stock...

Never had any issues with A&A. Ordered some silicone spray from them friday, recieved the emails early evening about shipping. Recieved the items in my mailbox as of monday. No issues no worries.

Ive got more dildos and vibes in one room than there is a combined amount of grenade launchers through out asc!

Like I have my office job during the day but Ive worked at this store for the last 5 years. Since I was old enough to be in here Ive worked here. Its the best univeristy job ever. This summer I picked up my job at my office but still work here just cause this job really isnt work. Sit around watch cable, play battlefield 2, play other computer games, sleep, eat pizza, sit around and do nothing.
