Buyirsoft.ca - good...or CRAP

I was thinking about ordering a gun from buyairsoft.ca, is their service good or not, I'm kinda worried about ordering from there because its not under the Canadian retailers, let me know if you can, I'm kinda new.

Skladfin September 22nd, 2007 23:18

they will give u what u want, but their prices are crap

Corbin September 22nd, 2007 23:23

I'm only buying a single gun (Kraken-AK-47), the price isn't bad, it comes out to 250 for it, which is only $15 more then for what I see other people buying locally for.

Skladfin September 22nd, 2007 23:25

Umm okay? Go ahead?

Corbin September 22nd, 2007 23:30

Just saying, lol

Stupideye September 22nd, 2007 23:43

I heard the shipping for it is insane.

surebet September 23rd, 2007 01:54

Best advice? Get age verified, drop and extra 100-150$ and get something that won't give you herpes.

Corbin September 23rd, 2007 03:17

It's the best AK I've seen yet, on buyairsoft

Corbin September 23rd, 2007 03:27

And the fact that I'm 16..... I suppose I could get one of parents to make an account and get verified......

Scooby Steve September 23rd, 2007 04:06

Best wait until you're 18 then you could be the owner.

Moz September 23rd, 2007 06:35

we hate minors here. Go die and when you are 18 come back like jesus.*

Honestly, to get the respect of the community, to avoid headachs, flamming, and real and/or fictiotious legal issues, wait until you're 18 to by a gun. It's the rules the airsoft community in Canada has voluntarily adopted. Besides, when you're 18, you can get age verified and get access to the classifieds on this site, which has a whole crapload of good beginner deals. You can get a gun, battey, mags, etc. usually for somewhere in the $400-$600 mark. Not to mention all the deals and everything to be found on gear.

Corbin September 23rd, 2007 13:40

surebet September 23rd, 2007 14:03

No, it's not.

dodger_me September 23rd, 2007 17:17

ya that style of kraken blows, if your looking for a cheap ak get the Kraken with the OD colored grips

Corbin September 23rd, 2007 17:20

And where would I find one of those?

Dude, you've been told where to look.

3 retailers in Canada. 2 of them don't stock that gun. Those are your choices.

Do I have to walk into their store or something? I have been looking around for it forever and it isn't under soft air and doesn't come up in searches.

Skladfin September 24th, 2007 21:10

If you are scared of walking into a store and buying an airsoft, your probably underage.

Anyways, it's on their newest catalogue, it's not on the website. You gotta order the catalogue first.

It's a mail order. I mean seriously, just take a single look at the store banner. and the URL. It says "MAIL FUCKING ORDER"

=)

The next thing I was wondering is if they even ship outside of Manitoba... I can't walk into their store because I live in Ottawa.

Sorry, I was figuring you guys could give me a quicker response because I'm sure no one is working there right now...

surebet September 25th, 2007 01:05

Seriously, save you cash for something better, play paintball or just find another hobby. They'll (SIR and buyairsoft.ca) overcharge you for a shit product of little durability

I cant tell if you are being sarcastic or not... But if you are over 18.

YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT MAIL ORDERS SHIP OUTSIDE OF ONE PROVINCE BY NOW.

No seriously, it's common sense

Is there a reason why you cant wait until you get an emailed reply, or do some very basic reading, or (even better) contact the Foxden and other local age-verifiers to get verified?

It would also help if you updated your profile with your location and age.

If you are not over 18, the best thing you can do is wait. Dont buy crap. Read a lot before asking the Frequently Asked Questions. There is an entire section of this site placed there to help you. At least look at it?

Pusha September 25th, 2007 18:20

They are pretty good.Maybe pricing is a LITTLE off but you get what you pay for.I recently ordered 3 guns and a couple accesories last Wendsday and they arrived today(I'm in ottawa). Not bad at all.

I already own an 06 eclipse ego, a smart parts ion and a tippmann 98 and play paintball a lot. I want a crap airsoft gun to screw around with.

I know absolutely nothing about mail orders. My family always believes in shopping in stores and I don't know of any relative who doesn't buy 99% of their stuff in person from stores.

Again I don't want to play airsoft, I just need a gun that I can screw around with and that I can get parts for.

Also the only page on the sir website that would load is their online store thing for all of yesterday on my connection for some reason so I couldn't get info.

Skladfin September 25th, 2007 18:56

Excuses, Love' em

Flying Squirrel September 25th, 2007 19:04

I hear a trash can

Greylocks September 25th, 2007 20:29

Ok, you want what is seen quite often as a Prohibited Device to 'screw around' with?
Do you know what kid of red-tape, laws and bylaws you are about to break?

I'm trying to save you cash and grief. There is a good community of people around Ottawa who CAN help you but YOU must make the first step. Go talk to them, you got nothing to lose.

By screw around with I mean shoot stuff and play some games with it. I already own 5 pistols, most gas a few spring. I have my own paint ball practice field and whenever we get bored we bring out the air soft and go around shooting each other for fun. I also have my own mini air soft arena in my basement. Our practice field is about 45 minutes from Ottawa on private land....

Greylocks September 25th, 2007 21:10

Fair enough, the advice still applies. Your choice.

Azriel_Strife October 23rd, 2007 21:48

Buyairsoft.ca sucks man, their service is horrible. I ordered a gun over a month ago and I still don't have a replacement because it was DOA.

arman October 24th, 2007 01:14

CRAP!!!!
