what other gun?

Styrak October 20th, 2007 18:25

P90 mags won't fit in any other gun, unless it's another P90.
Make sense?

surebet October 20th, 2007 18:28

The hell...? o.O

surebet October 20th, 2007 18:40

Since only TM made a P90 that doesn't try to molest you, I'll assume you have a crapsoft P90.

Fair warning, even though the mags might have similar physical dimentions, feed lips and such might not be compatible.

Hicaps of course do....

But locap P90 mags? Hello no! They are like the only mags that actually empty their contents completely (due to the gun's design). They're just big....which can be a good thing.

I think TM's M14, Type 89 and AK74 mags can also empty all their contents into the gun because of a new follower design. It basically just has a BB follower that's longer than normal.

What? There's no way that all 68 BBs go into the gun once the mag is slapped down.

The P90 does because the last few BBs gravity feed.

ProbeJax October 21st, 2007 17:13

All at once? No way. If you slap down a mag and take it back out, you can see that there are still BBs left in the mag. Yes, it completly empties itself, but not all at once.

Im with Surebet on this one, even though dimesions may be similar the p90 magazine may not work in other guns.

Unfortunetly I cannot provide you with measurements as I do not use or own one.

Phalanix October 21st, 2007 19:35

Length: ~27.5cm
Height: ~2.5cm
Depth: ~5cm

Wait, what? Ok, I'll try doing this tomorow. I haven't taken the mag out loaded in quite a while, so I could be wrong.

If you've handled any kind of airsoft magazine ever, you'd know that they don't empty into the gun all at once. The point other people were trying to make is that all the BB's do or do not FEED into the gun while firing.

I SAID that they don't empty into the gun at once.

DOM December 17th, 2007 11:52

I'm not sure what kind of measurements are you looking for... like just the w/h/t? or tech spec's? As I refuse to get up, you'll have to deal with mm as the measuring tape is the only thing I have with in hands reach.

276.5mm long 48mm wide at frount, and 55mm wide at the receiver end.
its about 25mm thick in the middle, but it varies.

What pray tell are you using mag in?

I just don't see it fitting in any other AEG :S

Oh and no all the BB's don't feed into the gun at once, you may fire a few then swap out for a fresh mag, then swap back to the other when you run out.

Just be sure you tip the gun upside down to empty out the few gravity-fed BB's when you change out a half used mag or you wont get the mag in and or damage the nozzle.

Thanks for reiterating everything in this thread for us.
