where can one get the molle panel for Serpa holsters?

Blackhawk? Or try Dave's. They were selling the holsters there for awhile, and maybe a guy could get lucky.

Can't say, don't recall ever seeing one in action. I'm wondering how easy it'd be to accidentally hit the release on going prone if I have the SERPA on my front, and whether that attachment piece can be used for a Safariland.

I've got the CQC platform, solid as a rock.
its 2 molle high and 4 wide, uses the speedclip design where the tabs go under the molle and theres a hook on each tab that goes over the strap on the bottom side so it can't be pulled out.

Do you have it on a plate carrier/wear it over plates, or something softer? I'm considering mounting it on a chest rig without a plate underneath, or possibly a leg drop panel, and I'm concerned about it sagging/wobbling.

I wouldn't trust that thing. Speed clips are fucking garbage.

its mounted on my OTV, I have foam where the soft armor should be, and 2 thicknesses of foam where the plate should be. It's very stiff so it doesn't wobble. Although it's not necessary to get a plastic SAPI plate (which are really uncomfortable!), you should back it with high density closed cell foam. As long as the panel your mounting it on is stiff the pistol won't flop around :)
