i know what u mean, when i went to rent it, i saw the poster, and the front is a usp, but they photoshoped the slide with an image of a desert eagle. had to look twice.

Sergeantmajor January 10th, 2008 20:41

There is nothing Photoshopped about it. There is some glare, but thats still a stainless steel USP slide.

In Lucky Number Slevin, Bruce Willis used a Springfield XD, if I remember correctly.

What movie poster did I see with Bruce Willis holding a Springfield XD?

Sergeantmajor January 15th, 2008 07:53

he uses an XD in one of his movies?

I know that the guy in Crank has one, but didn't know Bruce Willis had one.

i know he uses a usp with stainless steel slide in the movie, but next time you go to a video store, check out the poster, the photoshoped a desert eagle onto the side of the slide but kept the front as a usp, i tried looking for a high res picture on the internet, but this is the best i could find
http://www.moviecentre.net/photo-gal...Em_Up_1?full=1

it doenst show what i mean, but check it out next time you rent a movie.

DuffMan January 15th, 2008 11:46

I see no photoshopping going on there, man

immortalundead January 15th, 2008 13:50

ya, it doesnt show up, but check it out on a full size poster

proof

immortalundead January 15th, 2008 20:01

im not trying to argue that the pistol he is using is a usp, i know it is, and from the front it is also, im just saying the posters and movie covers i have seen of it have the front of the slide as a usp and then they photoshoped a desert eagle onto the side of the slide, i guess i cant convince any of you guys, you will just have to check it out. here is the best that i have found to prove my point
http://www.axelmusic.com/resources/c...4043112331.jpg

notice the desert eagle safety on the rear of the gun, all im saying is thats what i saw on a poster, and then when i went to check it out again, i saw on the dvd case that is was a mix of the 2. some of you might have seen different pictures on the internet, it was hard enough for me to find the one i was talking about, but here it is. if i can find a higher res picture ill post it up, but this is the one i saw.

Daiviet January 15th, 2008 20:05

I understand what he means, although it hasn't been photoshopped. You're seeing the lower portion of the slide on the USP and it looks similar to that of the Desert Eagle. If you take a second look, you'll see that the shading is what's throwing off the look of it.

He has one for a brief time in Die Hard 4. It's not his own gun, though.

Lakonian January 15th, 2008 20:09

MAN! Is it that hard to identify a gun? LOL! You guys need to play with yer ASGs more..

immortalundead January 15th, 2008 22:19

guys, u gotta really have a look, go to a video store to see what i mean, i know what a desert eagle is and i know what a usp is, ive got a usp in my airsoft collection, and ive looked at the desert eagle enough to know what i mean. the image didnt prove my point well enough. the image that was first shown, it showed the usp, but the other images ive seen in video stores have the eagle photoshopped onto the slide. i finaly found a cover that should show enough detail, and if you guys cant see that its a desert eagle, you guys need your glasses checked
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...8L._SS500_.jpg
ive never seen a usp with a safety on the slide, and the barrel of the desert eagle has that distinct shape in the middle part of the gun. im not trying to start a huge argument or anything, im just stating that ive seen a cover with a photoshoped gun

edit: to the op, sorry for straying your topic off course

diamond_SEA January 15th, 2008 23:37

its not straying off topic, i work at a place that rents movies and i though it was a DE also, but the frame is totally off from the slide. Closer look at the released movie poster on paper, and the poster downloaded of the web are different. Hence why i created this thread, something didnt add up.

DC_ACU January 16th, 2008 01:03

hell if you want a shoot em up loadout, you can get one at A&P, sobeys, etc..

(the carrot)

ok, thats what i was trying to point out, but it seems very difficult to find a high quality picture on the net of what i saw.

Cassius February 16th, 2008 22:09

That image clearly shows a photoshopped gun indeed. You've proved your point to me at least :)

What I didn't like about this movie was the part where both guys were out of ammo using semi-auto pistols yet the slide wasn't cocked back.
