bigtime newb question...

is an aeg with 280 fps good enough to play i see a some aeg's wit over 350 but i was really looking into getting a TSD Tactical M4 Classic but it only has 280 fps rating... i seen it for 400 bucks... is that too much cos i really want an M4...

KNIVEZS January 28th, 2008 19:59

AEG with 280 fps is weak, i think you need at least 300+

that pic looks like a springer M4 by panther arms

FiveFingers January 28th, 2008 20:00

ok forget i asked someone already helped me out....

MadMorbius January 28th, 2008 20:00

1) your sig pic is too big.

2) 280 is stock, generally speaking, and fine to learn the game with

3) I dont know what a TSD rifle is, so I can't comment on it's value.

yeah it's a springer but i'm still shopping for an aeg... that one is just for decoration in my room lol...

Ouais, on peut jouer avec un 480fps fusil, mais j'ai jamai entendu de cette marque. Ou est-ce que tu le trouver?

edit: ca veut dire 280...c'est plus probablement qu'on ne peut pas jouer avec 480 FPS XD

i have the same springer gun, but i got my self a new Ak-47 :)

I've found 280 has been fine for me, then again, the TM Thompson's rate of fire makes up for whatever FPS it lacks.

And where do you plan on buying this gun from?

KNIVEZS January 28th, 2008 20:17

http://007airsoft.com/main.htm

http://shootsoft.ca/store/

jesster202 January 28th, 2008 20:18

for 400 just get a tm or if you must have it now get a jg and upgrade to a metal body thats assuming you want an m4.

Styrak January 28th, 2008 20:19

007 doesn't have that gun....Shootsoft doesn't have that gun...

Sorry to burst your bubble.

so for a beginner like me it's relatively good to start with... yes or no...

FiveFingers January 28th, 2008 20:21

thanks for all your input... i'm gonna keep shopping...

Styrak January 28th, 2008 20:23

Yes, a stock gun is good to start with. A stock TM is going to be 280 FPS-ish.

Cassius January 28th, 2008 20:25

When you'll be there at Action Commando, checkout SHOOTsoft.ca's stock, they're bringing low cost AEGs for people to check out. I'm pretty sure you'll find something in there.

jesster202 January 28th, 2008 20:25

i know shootsoft dose not have tm's but shootsoft has jgs they shoot 380 out of the box and you can buy metal bodys on the fourms all the time. if not get a hold of ken at 007 airsoft to get a tm

What I said had nothing to do with that. He was looking for a TSD, which no retailer has.

MadMorbius January 28th, 2008 20:55

Get aged verified and you'll find better products at comparable prices in the buy sell board.
