KSC usp .45 , KJW p226, or WE 1911

Hi, im trying to decide on a gas blow back i should get in the future. I am not going to fields with this weapon, I am only using using these around the house.
I'm basically going for feel, and accuracy of the gas blow back (using .2 grams).

thanks for the help...

USP

krazie Sj February 5th, 2008 15:15

The 1911 will probably have the crispest blow back followed by the P226 and the USP last.

usp's are plagued with trigger problems. The trigger breaks very easily.

Cassius February 5th, 2008 15:32

Mr. Hitman

Edit: he doesn't wanna field it so I just suggested what looks the coolest.

BBS February 5th, 2008 18:46

if you're looking for feel get the USP because KJW guns have a "sluggish" blowback action. Heck even my TM P226 blew back harder in stock form than in my KJ P226. Not saying KJs are bad, they're excellent bang for the buck but it lacks...."feel"...there is less of a rewarding experience to shoot.

I thought it was only the KSC USP compact that has trigger snapping issues. not the newer KSC .45

Strange, My KJW P229 has one of the best crisp blowback actions of any pistols I've tried, second only to the TM Desert Eagle. Lots of kick too.

dodger_me February 5th, 2008 18:52

Ya, my TM p226 is really crisp... Just gotta lube the slide rails once in a while

woody_4000 February 5th, 2008 18:56

USP!!! im just ordered one lol......

lykurgus February 5th, 2008 20:13

just my opinion but buy a TM pistol,, i have dozens and the ones i game never let me down,, i always use propane and zero problems,, ksc are ok, their glocks are their best product, i have their usps and dont use them because of the problems they have, that are well documented on this site if you search for it,, if its just a wallhanger then who cares?,, it wont matter which one functions better till you use it.

I own both a KJW P226 and a WE 1911. I like the heavier blowback of the P226, but the WE is nicer to hold and look at.

As for the USP, why buy a plastic gun when you could have full metal? I don't believe I'll ever end up buying plastic.

attack-beaver February 6th, 2008 01:50

my USP as 0 trigger problems so far.

BBS February 6th, 2008 01:56

i think its the feel of the gun. Comparing the TM and KJW P226 side by side. Yes the KJ does feel heavier in the hands, yes it has full metal. But its the indescribable "feel" when you rack the slide of the TM, and give the gun a good shake for and to check for rattles and its solid build; immediate you can tell which brand has better craftsmanship. Gas it up and give a few shots and even though there is a nicer sound of KJ's metal slide cycling, IMO it cant beat the sensation of shoot a TM GBB.

in car talk, KJ may be a Hyundai, TM may be a Lexus. The quality and reliability is there, it still functions as a gun, but when compared againts a Lexus, it lacks "feel", quality, fit and finish, performance.

These guns come close and if i were to choose one to take to the field it would be the KJW P226 simply because its cheaper and it does the same job; i wont feel as bad if something breaks in my KJ P226. My TM will be a wall hanger for now.

namloot February 7th, 2008 20:20

My son has all three of those GBBs.

The KSC USP .45 is the most accurate. If you plan on using top gas (propane) you will need to get a metal slide and barrel. My son got 4000 rounds on propane with the plastic slide before it broke. Now he has over 7000.

The KJW P226 and WE 1911 are about the same as far as accuracy goes. They both look very real, both cycle well and he has put about 2500 rounds through both of them with no problems.

Spend the money and get the KSC USP with a metal slide and barrel or get the KJW P226. That is my opinion :)

Which metal slide brand is it? there's like 5 to choose none of them I know their name x.x

yea USP should be better as far as I check for reviews, otherwise go for search like this:
1) Style (USP, Glock, Sig, 1911 etc)
2) Brands (TM, KSC, WA, Tanaka etc)
3) Models they have (USP compact, USP, Mk23 etc)

attack-beaver February 11th, 2008 11:55

its the KSC metal slide i grab it for 60 bucks when double edge airsoft went out of business.

romeo sierra March 10th, 2008 12:36

if you can get your hands on a UNcompany custom usp, with full upgrades, you'll be shooting ksc .3 bb's about 90 ft no pproblem

achanman March 26th, 2008 20:16

I have the TM p226 love it, I have a usp as well upgraded to metal slide and barrel, I love that too.. Sorry i cant be of any help but i love both my GBB

WE 1911

Like a few guys here have said, the WE feels nice in the hand and looks great.I ordered one from A A airsoft and i put it next to my real one and it is very hard to to tell the two apart, however, as far as being reliable goes, it is a piece of shit an do not recommended it at all. a buddy is buyin it off me for 50 bucks.

makes a nice display piece i guess

attack-beaver March 27th, 2008 14:42

the WE some can be great others are shit.

friend had the type A dragon never gave him a single issue at all, well another player we new had the baby and was yea a POS never worked worth anything sold it for like 70-80 bucks.

Trapper1 March 28th, 2008 12:14

Its hit or miss i guess. I know that WE does not have the best quality control.
regardless, i will not be buyin another. The 80 dollar Tarus 24/7 i bought at S.I.R works way better. Not quite as accurate maybe

Andres March 29th, 2008 04:35

I thoroughly enjoy my WE 1911.

Gunk March 29th, 2008 05:02

I've got a TM 1911, and it's freaking beautiful. I was getting about a mag's worth of shots in the sub 0 cold with propane (maybe from about -5 to maybe +5 throughout the day), got a good kick to it, wicked weight, and it looks shmexy as hell.
