There wasnt enough time to take pics during the game, it was to insane. Personally with the amount of insane firing that was happening I wouldnt want my camera out anyways. Fuck I need a hair cut, or atleast a hair tie or something.

We tried to get stairs and a second level at our cqb field down here... But not only would the county not let us, but Im pretty sure the insurance company would have literally just gone ahead and requested a leg and a few testicles for payment. Well, not that they already arent... but still, I be jealous. I wanna play with multiple levels sooo bad.

No one got stabbed :( I did get one person with it by throwing... Not sure if they called it or not...

The last video of the prototype. It' INCREDIBLY loud especially inside. As you can hear in the audio, it blows out the microphone temporarily!

In those grenade vids, they may not have seemed that loud, but I believe the camera was just unable to capture the full extend of the blast. All of our earings were ringing very badly. It was terribly loud.

what happened with the mechbox? i dont understand how a v3 mechbox grenaded, esspecially at an indoor event, did it take a trip down a flight of stairs?

It was pretty cold, anything bad can happen when using an airsoft gun in the cold...
My M4 actually broke the shaft on its sector gear, it's a miracle it still fired at all :p
But the V2 mechbox shell didn't crack ;)
Where did the rumor that V2 mechbox shells are really weak come from anyway?

Because they're more prone to breaking in the front in the cold?

ive seen it happen a few times frenchy. the very front where the cylinder head sits, the left side usually breaks behind the two screws.

I'm not saying they AREN'T more prone, but everyone makes it seem like they'll only last 2 or 3 games lol

No it broke during the game, but it doesn't have to be cold out for guns to break on the road, the last 2 keystones the freaks were fixing guns the whole night before. anything more than a 6 hour road trip kills V2 mechboxes I guess lol

the rumor that V2's break so easily is due to the abundance of V2s out there. if you look at it as a ratio amount out there vs amount broken, im sure its comparable to V3 if not better.

Both my guns "broke" that game too. The first one, my C7, got a very unique jam that ive never seen before. its working now, but firing very very inaccurately. probably ripped the hop up rubber. the AK stopped feeding properly.. dunno why, but now that its back home and warm, its fine. again, prolly something to do with the hop up rubber.

Once my 2nd gun broke, i went back into the arena in a red hoody with my video camera. Between maverick and myself, we have about an hour of IN-GAME footage. got some nice night vision footage of the basement firefights as well.. including the shot where a cadpat player jumped over a banister and popped someone in the helmet nearly point blank. ahhh that was awesome... gonna work on making a video out of the footage over the next few days.

and before anyone asks.. my camera had a protective lense on it, care of Amos. so there was little risk of damage :P

i noticed alot of you guys had PB masks on, was that the rule or just every one preferred to wear full face?

I have a full head mask/helmet. It wasn't a rule, it's just a good idea in CQB.

Everyone thought it was prudent course of action to have some form of face protection, after all teeth arnt cheap to fix!

Yea, the guns were firing in full-auto and up to 350fps (the gun I used was something to the tune of 285fps). So.... when playing CQB with guns firing a little 'warmly', full face protection is a general good idea.

even at velocities below 300 fps, its still a good idea to wear facemasks.

At a game back in January, my C7 popped a guy in the head from a close range and gave em a nice bleeder. and my C7 only fires 270! (all be it, ranges in with guns at 350 sometimes).

I wore my advancer V12 goggles (I bought them for 120$ I'll be damned if I'm not gonna use them at least once), helmet and thick facemask which consisted of a neckwarmer and an ACU recon wrap for color :p
Everyone was real good about not shooting anyone in the face, and the one I got to the neck I barely felt through my neckwarmer.
I'd of preferred to wear a full face mask or gas mask, but due to the temperature change with the arena and setup rooms the gas mask would have fogged instantly and I just hate face masks lol

Heh, I got shot in the neck once or twice, but didn't have anything there except skin :P.

I had a pair of bolle T-800s I wanted to give a try, I eventually did get a chance to throw them on during a pistol match in the afternoon, but over all I think I would prefer to have a face mask in an auto game. Shemaghs, save necks!

I took a direct hit on my goggle, and it WOULD have struck my eye if I wasn't wearing them, plus I took two more in the cheek. I'm not a short guy, but in their defense, it was from someone blind-firing over-top of the main floor shooting in the stairwell. That was... so kind of them.

I was shot in the face many times. Aside from that I caught many ricochets in the head as well. I dont think anyone was purposely aiming for the head, but well blind firing can sometimes lead to that.

Hey everyone, I'm Al, the owner of this CQC. Counterfeit Combat is the name of me business and this is a retired school that has 7000 sqft on three floors.

You can't get a real good idea of the facility from these pics but if you think you like this, you will really like what I'm working on next. I am in the beginning stages of buying a retired Hospital and that will be insane. It will have approx 55,000 to 70,000 sqft on four floors.

I'll let you know how that goes over the next few weeks.

And I should add that some of the photos are now edited because they apparently made someone too uncomfortable with looking at pictures of grown up men playing a grown up sport which involes murder of one-another.

We play 3 times a week without masks but ...again we got balls in Alberta like WATER BUFFALO .. plus most of us are ugly as sin anyway .....
