Ebaybanned - Great.

Hey folks.

So here's the story,

I bought a reconpack/hydration system. They sent me the wrong bag, instead they sent a 3 day assault pack. When I informed them of the mistake, it was corrected immediately. They sent me ANOTHER bag, the correct one, at no extra charge.

The bags, both multicam clones, are very well made, and very sturdy. I have not fielded them, but both seem very able and willing to stand up to even the most violent of rolls, falls and slides.

I would highly reccommend this retailer to anyone looking for good replica stuff, at a GREAT price.

Cheesevillage February 15th, 2008 21:40

So you now own two bags? That's awesome!

Donster February 15th, 2008 21:47

thanks for the like. i think i might purchase their multicam stuff. just out of curiosity (directed to youonlywish), is your multicam stuff the real deal, or repo? and how does the repo (i.e. huang's and this site) compare to the real deal?

TokyoSeven February 15th, 2008 22:01

Looks like they have alot of nice products.
I did find it kinda funny how they have the same pics Huang has on his companies website for the replica paraclete RAV. A few of the pics on the site are the same.

The Saint February 15th, 2008 22:09

It seems like they share a number of the same products as eHobby, but more expensive even after factoring shipping from HK.

Tex February 15th, 2008 22:46

I still refuse to use them as they pm spammed many users here under two user names after the first was banned for spamming. I don't like/support spammers. nice to see they treated you good though, just bad "advertising" ideas.

Paul from Ebaybanned is great, I rarely buy from huang now just because I can get it with free shipping and its the same price.

Amos February 16th, 2008 00:18

PAUL IS A JERK!

The owner of this website is currently trying to screw me over hardcore...

All my payments made it through... But he's sent me a different email saying that my payments haven't gone through.... Then when I send him screen shots of the paypal thing completed they magically go through..

arman February 16th, 2008 02:37

ill put them in my favourites check them out later... bet hes happy he "HOOKED" you up...

youonlywish February 16th, 2008 07:25

Yes, he absolutely did. Two bags, once paid.

Their multicam stuff is repro, and pretty decent, very well produced and sturdy.

Again, each person's experience will be different, but I had a good one, and will be back to this site.

For those of you who are having problems,

From some emails I received from Paul, it seems he has many people awnsering the same email address. they all seem to share the same, very broken english. Try to be as straight forward as possible.

Hortons Heros February 29th, 2008 11:47

just bought a mesh mask for 16 and they didn't charge shipping...we'll see when it gets here.

pawscal February 29th, 2008 12:07

They never charge shipping, its all free shipping.

THE CAT February 29th, 2008 15:48

Post your concern in the REVIEW in his website. Many people had bad experience with Paul inconsistant service. Be prepare for long email in and out.

PaCHeKo! March 4th, 2008 13:43

Sorry for the thread revival!

Is Paul supose to update your order when he ships the package or receive the payment?

Mine haven't change since I submited my order and payment :

Shipping Terms
  • We ship to worldwide by Hong Kong Airmail Post or China EMS (with orders weighted over 1.3kg) which are among the most reliable and effective posting services in the world. They are supporting millions of Hong Kong and China eBayers and B2C sellers in the Greater China Region.
... You should receive it through CanadaPost.

EC74 March 4th, 2008 14:04

You'll receive it through Canada Post, mind you you will probably have to wait about 2 - 3 weeks for it, at least that's how long my orders usually take with him. But I do receive all my stuff that I order, all the time.

shadow_matter March 4th, 2008 14:52

Paul is a great guy to do business with. I requested for him to bring in a AN/PEQ box and within two weeks he's stocking them regularly. Everything is shipped and received promptly. Great guy, and solid business practices.

jesster202 March 4th, 2008 14:54

bought floor plates a++++ shipping and now im getting a d boys bipod and a bertta holster loosk like a good deal

Lotech March 4th, 2008 15:07

It states on the site that a tracking number and email will be sent when the items are shipped but I think they are just too busy to do this much anymore. Mind you, if you email them asking about the shippment they always send an email back with the tracking number. Seems they get alot of buisness from Canada and people from this forum. Paul is very please with sales and I like that shipping is included so you know exactly what things will cost even before you hit the checkout button.

Iconix March 5th, 2008 17:44

If someone has ordered a BDU set from them please do a intense review. Im thinking about getting a couple pairs but I would like to see a comparison compared to other bdus/makers.

Thanks,

As soon as I receive mine I'll make a review... ;)

PaCHeKo! March 7th, 2008 20:45

I just received my package :

- Multicam BDU (replica)
- Tactical google (T-800 replica)

I'll make a review on Sunday...

Iconix March 7th, 2008 21:06

Right on bud, Hey you didnt mention the goggles lol. If you know someone with real Multicam or if you have something with the pattern to compare that would be awsome. Either way glad you got it.

hoot. March 7th, 2008 21:10

First time I got something from him service was great. The last item I bought from him never got shipped till I emailed him again which was a month later. His email said it was already shipped and I should recieve it soon but after checking the tracking # he gave me it was just shipped out..which was the 6th of this month, I ordered last week of Jan.

russc March 7th, 2008 21:37

Those are good prices, especially with the free shipping. I just ordered a bunch of crap from him.

love to see a review on this...never seen a Flecktarn Ciras anywhere else.

Iconix March 7th, 2008 21:52

Just wondering if anyone has told him about this site and how it can boost his sales or crumble them if he srews over ASC members?

Crunchmeister March 31st, 2008 16:02

1 week ago, I bought a 6" barrel extender for my HK416. I received it today, exactly 1 week later. Price was $18.50US shipping included. Doesn't get any better than that.

There are a lot of great items on that site, and the fact they don't charge you $40 shipping on a $10 item (like eHobby, Redwolf, etc...) is extra bonus.

That being said, eHobby and others have a much larger selection to choose from, and will carry gear that ebaybanned doesn't. But if it's available from ebaybanned, you'll get it way cheaper than any of the other China / HK retailers just because shipping is free.

Well, the shipping isn't really free. It's just included in the price. That being said, their prices are pretty good anyway.

I sawa barrel extension on ebay from an American seller going for $19.99 US plus $10 shipping to Canada. I got the barrel extension for $18.50. Shipping included or not, their prices are lower than competitors.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. Kind of like eHobby. Yay cheap Hong Kong shit!

Crunchmeister March 31st, 2008 17:48

You bet. I'll buy from Hong Kong and China any day. Shit gets shipped fast too - much faster than anything coming from the US, and often faster than stuff coming from within Canada. When I bought my TM P226 in late November, I had also ordered a package from Redwolf. I got the shipping notifications from both orders on the same day. The Redwolf package arrived in 5 calendar days. The P226 (from BC to Ontario via Xpresspost) took a full 7 days.

Styrak March 31st, 2008 17:54

Yeah, stuff is usually pretty quick from HK retailers. That being said, I paid for stuff from 3 HK retailers over a week ago, and they're JUST sending stuff out now. Grr. I usually have good experiences with eHobby though. 7-10 business days.

mth April 1st, 2008 00:50

I'm not sure but it has been more than 10 days since I placed an order. Till now, I haven't seen or received any news from Paul. The status of my order is still "shipping as soon as possible" so I email him just to ask about shipping date, but...nothing happens. I think ehobby is better at this point.

Qlong April 1st, 2008 00:54

Email him asking for a tracking number, it might just be sitting at customs. I usually receive my packages in 8 days. As for that 'status' if you can call it that, it never changes, just stays like that. Paul or Jesse usually answers within 3 days.

EC74 April 1st, 2008 00:57

the funny thing is, sometimes when I email Paul, someone else answers for him. So I know at least 2 other people will answer the emails. I haven't had any problems with someone not answering emails from him, and I usually receive the items within 2 weeks from ordering.

Qlong April 1st, 2008 00:58

One thing I do not like about ehobby are their cheap envelops they ship in, it is usually strung together using that old fashioned string wrap-around envelope. Anyone can pretty much open it and they are prone to opening accidentally.

EC74 April 1st, 2008 01:21

oh, and another thing is that they changed their price to Euro now....

Qlong April 1st, 2008 01:23

I still pay US through paypal tho...

pawscal April 1st, 2008 01:24

no they just added some currencys, you can change it on the right side of the site

EC74 April 1st, 2008 01:25

ya, he sent an email saying that they had to switch due to the fact that the US dollar fluctuated too much.

Edit: oh, lol, haven't really looked through it as of yet, thanks!

Qlong April 2nd, 2008 22:09

Well Ebaybanned or CP managed to screw up my delivery address, double checked everything on the invoice and it was not at my fault. I had it delivered to my Hamilton home but it managed to get to someone in Toronto and someone by the name of ASHA HAGIWARA signed for it...Friggen gay, so I'm waiting for a response from CP and Paul now....grrr

Skladfin April 2nd, 2008 22:59

I heard somewhere that Ebaybanned will refund you the money if the stuff doesnt get through the customs, then they will refund you the money?

No. I've never been able to find one. The website just shows "Ship u ASAP, thanks" on your order status and then you wait a couple weeks.

I just got my latest order from them and I had no tracking number but it arrived less than two weeks. well packed and as ordered.

They gave me one after I asked them what the hell was going on because I didn't get notification of shipping for over a week after I had paid.

Yup... they don't notice you about shipping. I don't care since I trust their method of shipping and their business.

Inade April 4th, 2008 01:45

I bought an ACOG scope, metal RIS handguards for an M4, and a new mag. I bought them together as one package, 20 days ago! I'm still waiting for 'em to show up on my doorstep.... /grunt.

Qlong April 5th, 2008 01:02

You have to ask to get a tracking number, I just want it so I can see if it sits at customs or not.

Lerch April 5th, 2008 03:41

Ordered a few AK parts from eBaybanned. Started out a bit odd, since they received payment, confirmed it, but emailed me asking what exactly I'd ordered (apparently the order didn't go through with the payment).
Anywho, one package has shown up so far with no problems, took about 2 weeks with some nice yellow CBSA tape to assure me the package was 'taken care of' on its way here.
Hoping to see my second package soon :D

Then your stuff is possibly sitting in customs. They're usually quick to ship. I got my barrel extender from them in 7 days, but customs cleared my package quickly and didn't open it.

NovaKaynE April 5th, 2008 22:37

The guys at customs are prolly using the ACOG to scope out their asses to see if they can find their heads.

Inade April 8th, 2008 21:38

Alright, so the package came in the mail today. Eager, i opened it up, and to my surprise:

Omg! WTF NO HAND GUARDS.

So I sent an e-mail and they haven't replied in two days...

Im perfectly pleased with what I received, but i'll have to wait another month just to receive something that should already have been here...

Goddammit.

Styrak April 8th, 2008 21:57

I got my $260 bag-o-stuff from EbayBanned yesterday. Everything is great except for one thing. They sent me a crane stock instead of a fullstock. Although the crane is worth more than the fullstock and I paid for a fullstock. But I still like the fullstock better so I messaged them and I'll see what they'll do about it.

pusangani April 8th, 2008 22:12

these guys are great, made 2 orders from them so far, really fast shipping and they always respond to emails, although one of their descriptions didn't really match what I got but oh well :)

You still risk being shipped the wrong item.

Ordered a vertical grip and ended up with a flashlight.

BUT, if you catch them with some items out of stock, and some in stock, then that could be good. For instance, I ordered an ACOG knockoff, no tademarks, only on/off, (no brightness/elevation/wind settings,) and it was 50$. Turned out to be out of stock. I opened up a full trades, trijicon ACOG red dot scope, and it had all of the brightness/elevation/wind adjustments. I guess it was the only ACOG in stock, and it was 69$. They did not charge me extra. Also, i ordered a plastic mid cap and ended up with an HK 416 metal one.

/shrugs, just kinda ruined it though with the missing hand guard....

Captain Tenneal April 9th, 2008 01:27

Ordered stuff from them.

I got it all nice, and on time. Was shipped duty as a $11 Used Helmet (even though AK47 grips and tactical stuff don't look even remotely like a helmet)

Aaaand. Quality is absolute shit. I ordered a set of RIS pannel AK grips and a set of tactical add-ons for the AK (mag catch, SOPMOD Bolt and selector lever) and all of it which is supposed to work with TM AK, doesn't even remotely fit.

RIS has to be cut up and sanded down so it'll fit, pistol grip needs to have a hole countersunk into it so it'll work, bolt is a welded piece of metal that doesn't fit into the existing bolt trunnion, magcatch doesn't fit magazines properly, and the selector switch is welded together and sticks too far out from the gun. And of course, all of the metal bits came covered either in grime or came pre-rusted.

I aint gonna order any more accessories for guns from them until I know 100% that they're remotely decent.

TokyoSeven April 9th, 2008 01:39

Thats I gave up on asian clone parts, saving on cost isnt worth the headache, and your experience is worse than mine when it comes to asian clone parts, all I purchase was a metal body, shitty misspelled trades, mag well had to be dremeled and filed to fit a mag, recievers end tube had to be filed to fit a buffer tube. Top of the upper reciever had to be filed and dremeled to even accomodate a mechbox. Should have bought the G&P for 75dollars more.

Captain Tenneal April 9th, 2008 02:06

Yeah. I'm regretting buying this, because i'm gonna need to take out a dremel to fix 90% of this stuff.

Normally I'd go for the actual stuff, and now this just confirms it.

I also love how they gave me a screw to tighten my selector plate. And that it has no head so the best you can do is handtighten it... :S

NOTE TO STUPID ASIAN RETAILERS: FLASHLIGHT DOES NOT = VERTICAL GRIP.

TokyoSeven April 9th, 2008 05:15

Maybe if he glued it to the bottom of the hand guard vertically...

Overall it seemed like ebay banned started off good with decent prices on clone asian parts but it also seems that as they got popular and more orders came in, they began to spiral into jackassery, and not just with in the bounds that would considered normal for a company that deals with alot of customers. It almost seems like you have a 1 in 5 chance of not getting what you ordered.

Lerch April 9th, 2008 05:47

Seems like I beat the odds and got all my stuff with good time then :D

djtbster April 10th, 2008 21:16

Skladfin April 11th, 2008 01:37

okay, this is pissing me off, I ordered last thursday and they still have not even shipped yet.

Skladfin April 12th, 2008 21:24

Okay, so I emailed with them multiple times asking why my item has not been shipped yet.

Now they tell me it will be shipped on Monday, without any explanation, completely ignoring my question.

10days shipping delay is really impressive service.

Hortons Heros May 23rd, 2008 14:31

I have done another $2000ish of orders and they seem to make a mistake on most orders but they have been really good to ship out missing items with tracking #'s. I have been in contact with Jesse and his or her english is better than whoever else I was talking to before.

Orders don't come in one large package. THey break it up and it usually takes month for everything to arrive. I am very happy with their service and products. Read the reviews before you buy, there are some stay away products for sure.

They really like it if you take pictures of the wrong items that you recieved. That has been the case is that they give you the right number of the wrong item which works well because you get the right item eventually plus get to keep the wrong item.

Styrak June 3rd, 2008 05:16

Just made another $110 order with them. I've been very happy with their service. I got a wrong item last time, and like Hortons Heros said, they send you the correct item for free after I took a picture of it in the packaging.

They now have live MSN help, which is a big bonus as you can get almost instant answers on anything.

They may be a bit dumb at times (or just dealing with a lot of volume, I'm not sure, because they seem to make mistakes on sending items from what I hear from other people as well) but they get a big thumbs up from me.
