Styrak's Custom M4 CQB Build

Update: Gun is totally together and firing nicely. The thing is so solid, feels like 1 piece. There's no barrel wobble, and I can hardly flex the barrel at all if I try bending it. The only problem seems to be the KA mags are loose in the body, so I'll have to buffer the magwell with electrical tape, or the mags.

ACM (internals too) except for the metal body, which is G&P.

Yeah I know, OD mags. Thought they were black when I ordered them, but oh well. I'll know what mags are mine!

You should probably just keep it the way it is... looks nice

Skladfin April 24th, 2008 00:38

KNIVEZS April 24th, 2008 00:41

Damn straight. Cost me a pretty penny too.

mcguyver April 24th, 2008 00:43

Wow. You have 5 of the 47 parts needed to build a gun, and you did some drawing on your carpet.

Just kidding. :D

Styrak April 24th, 2008 00:45

HEY! I have all the parts minus a metal body, furniture kit, and mechbox which I ordered today, and the stock is almost here.

Xenos-Fear April 24th, 2008 01:03

Wow ! This is the best camouflage I've ever seen ! Can't wait to see this on the field !

Just don't drop it when you play in woods... gonna be hard to find !

Grim Fandango April 24th, 2008 01:11

I like the easy access to the hopup, must make adjusting it a breeze.

SEALs April 24th, 2008 01:13

the way it looks like some kind of cheap ass JG or ohter shit like that gun. Internals are about the same quality!

I'll take you on that challenge as long you don't include any camo competition! Which PTW do you want to fight? ;)

The Acer April 24th, 2008 01:25

looks really solid there strayak,

Styrak April 24th, 2008 01:48

Actually, it's a DBoys RIS and outer barrel, and it's actually very solid and the finish is actually pretty good. I think it'll match up nice with the G&P body.

aZn_triXta07 April 24th, 2008 01:54

oh snap can u like go through wallz with that sh!t like i mean WALL HAX!!

1337 ass gun - keep it that way

Styrak May 6th, 2008 16:18

Okay people, thread updated.

I took the active camo off the gun.

HaZarD SFD May 6th, 2008 17:24

Its ok Styrak. Ronan is still mad that he was killed by a springer 2 times while he was weilding his PTW.

Bowers May 6th, 2008 17:33

hey gimme credit here:(

one question though. why dont you have the bottom of the trigger guard installed?

Styrak May 6th, 2008 19:28

Because none of the furniture is installed. You noticed the trigger guard, but not the fact that there's no trigger, or selector, or bolt catch, or mag release, or charging handle?

Lol.

Styrak May 7th, 2008 19:34

Update, gun is together and SOLID. New pics.

TokyoSeven May 7th, 2008 19:54

Slap some sights on her and its done!

huang May 7th, 2008 20:21

For a CQB, the fixed stock is bit big to me. I would like a CRT stock or something shorter.

jtjcheng May 7th, 2008 20:47

I agree with huang

TokyoSeven May 7th, 2008 20:56

I personally would have gone with one of those shorty full stocks.
