M4A1, models, makes and prices!
I'm looking to buy an m4a1 that is full metal, my question is what is the best m4a1 i can buy from a Canadian retailer for around 150$ - 200$.
I have been looking around i read the FAQ's and i used the search engine to find similar posts. i didn't find what i wanted so now i feel it necessary to post a thread. |

and add maybe another 200 and we can find you something |
You can't even get a metal body with nothing in it for $150 in Canada. Get a summer job, get age verified, and browse the classifieds.

Good Luck |
Please fill in your profile info such as age and location.

okay , scrap the full metal but whats the best m4a1 you guys think i could possibly get. I've been researching coming up with squat. As for age i'm 17, in Vancouver area and i am planning much further ahead of time what gun i can afford and which id like to have when i come of age.

Systema is arguably the best, with a 2500$ price tag.
Figure 350 for a JG, another 250 for bare minimum gear. |

a STAR is always nice too |
Wait until you turn 18 and have a somewhat decent job, only then can you find a decent aeg. However, get ready to see your paychecks turn to dust once you get yourself into airsoft.
|
can you guys suggest any good models for 200 - 300 at least??? doesn't need to be full metal just pretty looking and works nice and smoothly.
"Wait until you turn 18 and have a somewhat decent job, only then can you find a decent aeg. However, get ready to see your paychecks turn to dust once you get yourself into airsoft." I'm just planning ahead one step at a time man :P |
The only guy for that is the Aftermath Kraken AK47....
The Kirenex Im not so sure about but it's an armalite.... |

jing gongs, and such should run you around 300 or so higher end quality like tokyo marui, classic army, ICS should be like 500-750 maybe? my info is coming from an old retailer who shut down so i dont know if the current prices have dropped much also remember in a year things could be completly different so this info might not be the best to go cheers bowers |
What use would your aeg be if you can't even use it on an approved airsoft field? Is spending the only dollars you have on a bellow average aeg really worth it? Instead of wasting your money or as you call it yourself 'planning ahead of time', why don't you save some more and get yourself something of somewhat good quality once your turn 18?

For a Systema... yeah right ! lol For 200$... you'll get nothing. Get age verified... get a job... and be sure, if you begin airsoft... you won't spend only 200$. I don't want to know how much I've spend for the last 6 years. |

You'll be able to shop and compare once mopic's site is up to the public.
|
350 for a JG M4, anything cheaper will explode. Basically the step below that is a Canadian Tire M4.
|
You MIGHT be able to get one shipped from China thats full metal and in your price range...
But then you rely on customs not checking your package, so its not worth it. |

Read Reviews Go to games to see them and (maybe) handle them Touch yourself ??? Profit |
If you've never handled one before, go to a game and get a feeling on some people's guns that they've put some serious money into, it'll change your current perspective.

Especially when the price tag for the gun itself is just the beginning, two boxes of mags by themselves cost more than your average AEG, whereas two boxes for regular Armalites will run you 110$. Or you can Ronan it out, I guess... :) |

Seriously, check it out. |

If you can get one, I highly recommend a CA M15 of whatever flavour. Externally, they're about as good as they come with a kickass metal body and super-solid externals. I hear internals are a bit hit-or-miss, but usually the problem (piston & head, tappet plate, spring guide) are all cheap and plentiful and easy to replace.
My rifle is an absolute killer all around. It's had some minor internal upgrades (bearing spring guide, Systema silent piston / cylinder head, tappet plate), but not till it had 20 000 rounds put through it stock. None of the stock internals showed any wear other than the tappet plate after all the use (I thought the internals would be worn to shit). I recently added a tightbore and it's a tack-driver now. It got me some nice kills at the last game - all 50-ish foot ranges through thick brush (described as "bush as thick as 70s porn"). I wouldn't trade this gun for anything, even a PTW. |

A BFL by itself does not necessarily grant the holder the right to import prohibited items. And those that do hold BFLs that allow prohibited items can only import them for the purpose of use in film / TV / theatrical productions. They don't grant the license holder the right to sell the items.
Dude, there are people here that have been into airsoft since you were still shitting in your diapers. If it was that easy to get stuff in the country, trust me, others would have thought of it before you. |

some people have no sense of humour.
|

Megasignature, I'd kill it before you get an infraction.
Just wait bud, Or get reaaal freindly with your local airsofters. Give them a good impression and you might get lucky. Thats what I did. Trying to break the law and smuggle will not do you any good. Edit: Also, do take into considoration, You have no better chance than anybody getting a gun through the border, If it was as easy as you seem to think, we wouldnt have the problem of paying our inflated prices. Or people like me giving you a prod to pay like we had :P. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b2...uff/import.png ________ Coach Purses |
