I'am inerested in building an M4A1 from the ground up. I need advise should i build it, or should i purchess a M4 and upgrade? "note" I need help finding a site or help getting a pro-grade M4.

Bowers August 25th, 2008 07:19

its recomended that new players dont upgrade thier gun

as for gettng a gun you can get them right here on this site by getting age verified

also i would not build a gun from the ground up id buy a already built gun

Daviday August 25th, 2008 07:31

not true

if he behaves maturely and respectfully and accepts the rules then he shouldent get flamed

if he acts like a retard or is just a dick he will most likely get ripped apart

time to clear something up before the angry side of me wakes up

the guns you own such as that panther arms ARENT airsoft in the eyes of most of this community they are esentally cheaply made toys that will NOT stand a chance in fuck against real guns no matter what "mods" you do

furthur more few people approve of minors owning airsoft so now that i think of it even if you behave you might not get a warm welcome best bet is to lurk for a while

that qualifys as nice right?

Daviday August 25th, 2008 09:02

look i was told to join this site because like a of you here i enjoy playing airsoft i may not have the best guns i the biz, but i make due with what i have.

I tinker around by putting in better gears and motors, but i never said i want to stick with clear airsoft! I've wanted to upgrade for 2 years, and never got the chance to.About two days ago My fauther said to me if i find a good used pro-grade airsoft gun he will buy for me or if i find all the nessesary parts to a full Metal AEG
he will pay for them.

I don't mean to cause a ruckes in the community, but i'm simply looking for a new Gun, and now everyone is pissed because i'm doing my best to get a pro-grade gun.

kid relax

none of us are pissed

we are just being honest

the only real way to get guns is age verified which you cant do given your age

Daviday August 25th, 2008 09:09

For me i'm just looking for the best deal i can get, besides i'm looking at parts on the net and doing my best to figure out weather build a gun from scatch is better then buy a used one...that's it nothing else, i can wait until i'm 18 to do the age verifaction.

wow let's say even you manage to get all the metal part you want, i don't think you know how to put it together! kid it's not a toy, it's not as simple as you think, and without age vertify you will not find a person here willing to help you mod the gun!! and you said "everyone is pissed because i'm doing my best to get a pro-grade gun" no no no, no one is pissed all we want to tell you is don't even think about getting a real AEG without age vetify!! there is no other way!

Daviday August 25th, 2008 09:35

i'm not buying the guy.
m fauther is.
he told me to look for a good prograde gun.
i've looked into the real AEG's and i know how to put them together.
i'm not oblivius to this i've been looking into it for 2 years.
i'm know that pro-grades aren't toys that's why i'm reaserching it.
besides i do own the JG Dragon, it's a shity vertition of a prograde gun and i've taken it apart more than once and it still works...and yes yes it's not the real thing, but i'm not stupid.

dude, don't make fun of him, he's a trained aeg gunsmith and probably has 1337 sniper skills and will hunt you down, airsoft child prodigy this one

eV.Viper August 25th, 2008 10:13

All previous posts were clear... get age verified when you'll turn 18 otherwise you'll have to wait.

It's simple as that.

And please, don't tell us your father will buy the gun... it sounds like a little kid wanting daddy to buy everything for him...

On a side note, if you still don't follow our indications, you'll only be able to get some clear guns as the high-end aegs are only available to age verified members.

And oh, can I say inb4datrash?

Bwah haha haha haha haha haha.

Anyways, before I bust out into another retarded fit of laughter.

Whats up everyones ass this morning? The OP has been polite and respectable for the most part and all he has been met with hostility. Do you people really think he's going to listen to you and not work with airsoft or buy airsoft related things? People will do what they want to do and if they really care to do it they will do it whether or not we like it. The best we can do is educated and guide to the best of our ability, so that he has the best understanding possible as to why things are the way they are and perhaps even come to listen to our recommendations. ASC has had it share of underagers and given a chance they have learned and grown and become age verified to be stand up members of the airsoft community. When you leap down the throat of a new user in such a manner like some of you do, it puts them in a very defensive position and they become unwilling to listen.

Now before anymore of ASC's peanut gallery wakes up to chime in their 2 cents, Im requesting lock and trash.

+1 for tact and respect

Azathoth August 25th, 2008 14:37

I Do not recommend assembling a gun from scratch from parts. It is a giant waste of time and if you do some searching in the doctor corner you will find countless people who have more experience breaking down and giving up on projects because of many different issues.

acidpunk August 25th, 2008 15:11

i'll build you a custom m4, i have most of the parts you will need lying around here. don't worry im not like the other pricks on here. so yeah it will be one of those awesome 300 doller veteran killers made for noobs. but in all reality it will cost about $1200 + shipping costs. im not sure how long it will take me to build it but you will have to pay me in advance. so i could order the extra parts i need

but the one requirement is that i can not send it to you untell you turn 18.

ILLusion August 25th, 2008 15:18

In short, unless you have done this several times or really know what you're doing, it's highly recommended against building a gun from scratch. When not knowing what you're doing, it will turn in to a very time consuming and expensive project.
