Systema TW5 Max...

Just wanted to share some pics of my new "TOY" courtesy of THE PIRATE...
This thing is a beast...it's heavy, accurate and built solid!

More pics to follow along with some field testing.

Nice man, although the sight is alittle to big for the gun IMO. And kill that orange flash hider!

Vince October 2nd, 2008 22:25

I find it even sexier than the AR PTW

I really like a good clean and simple look for an MP5, just try to keep FOX_111 away from this thread, otherwise I think not only will he drool all over his keyboard he might very well load his credit card LOL

Cheesevillage October 2nd, 2008 22:32

Do the pictures have a weird aspect ratio?

I'd like to say the gun looks "nicely proportioned"...
which makes no sense especially considering I own a TM MP5A4.
(grip seems shorter and/or stock seems longer)

Yeah I ran an aimpoint like that and it was too big and top heavy.

Nice gun, Kevorkian. Thanks for posting.

kullwarrior October 2nd, 2008 22:52

nice pic, I dunno why, but really 30mm is wayy too big for it. I would say reflex sight might be better, NOT EOTech as its too blocky...Hows does the fps go? and accuracy?

Cassius October 2nd, 2008 23:55

Here's my question; can you do the HK slap? If yes, it might be worth getting one.

Styrak October 2nd, 2008 23:59

You can do it on TM's, I hope you can do it on this one! :D

Yeah but does it do it fully like the CA ones where the dust cover moves or is it like the TM ones where only the charging handle moves?

KEVORKIAN October 3rd, 2008 08:20

You "CAN" do the HK-slap...but there is no dust cover that moves!

kullwarrior October 3rd, 2008 08:36

Redwolf airsoft did it at the yout tube vid, however IBICO from System forum (Norway) bought a 2nd hand which has the bolt handle broken already... assuming its a result of riding the bolt

Yeah, right. Plus mags, cylinders, battery(s), more like 25 big ones, maybe.:D

And don't listen to these yahoos dissing your RDS choice. I've shot the real one with that same sight on it (not the clone one though), and if you were at the business end instead my Johnny Jihad target, you'd be just as dead.;)

LOL... Johnny Jihad Target ?

Kev, what's the performance like? Worth getting rid of the AR PTWs ?

FOX_111 October 3rd, 2008 21:54

1500$.... maybe with a more resonable amount of mag and a selection of only one cylinder.. I could keep it around 1K. That would be the maximum I would spend on one gun.

mcguyver October 3rd, 2008 22:11

The gun alone was probably $1500 is my guess. The mags, cylinders and battery all extra.

Spare mags & cylinders were all extra, but I ordered them through my HK supplier because they were still cheaper than the pre-order prices!

The flash hider will be changed as soon as it arrives...I know I know, it kills me to see it on there myself!

I've always liked the RDS look myself...
I do have an Eotech from Huang I might toss on, but other than that I'm open to any other suggestions!

FOX_111 October 4th, 2008 07:52

1500 for the gun itself.... OUTCH then.
I guess it could be cheaper to order via the US with a very hot spring and a PAL.

Nope. The MP5 in all variants is prohibited.

But I know you were joking anyways. :D

JoeyJackhammer October 7th, 2008 01:50

new aimpoint micro T-1 would look good, if you're looking for an alternative

Micro T-1

Love the look of the Trijicon reflex with it's HK mount, too

Trijicon reflex

Depends... would you prefer a MP5 more than a AR?

At first I thought you were fucking crazy! That would be $15,000!

More like 1.5 big ones. :P

Schlyder October 7th, 2008 04:17

I guess he meant $100. as big ones. LOL Fuck ... $100. doesn't buy shit nowadays. A tank of gas eats most of that up.

Agree, reflex sight more cabinetly. Maybe long rifle scope also perfact for this amazing gun.;)

Bad packaging.. that`s all. But the charging handle arm is made from pot metal.. It would easy break off.
