Well, that's not really true. Rifles have a tendancy to sell more in volume than pistols do. 007 used to get in anything and everything, but not anymore. They may still have some pistols in stock, imported via controlled channels.

Clear is now the order of the day for unrestricted importation (if you can really call it that) of airsoft guns into Canada.

You can't get those pistols on his website anymore, correct me if I am wrong but I think I remember him saying that he did not have the old code to take off some of the old content from his website

Full black airsoft pistols are double secret restricted. Apparently anything that looks like a gun will jump out a window and directly into the hands of a gang banger, where it will impose it's will to frighten people directly on the residents of Toronto, thus making it a national problem. Additionally, we all know that a gangbanger holding a replica might get killed by the Police, so we'd best keep those dirty toys off the street or risk more dead criminals.

/sarcasm

Full black airsoft pistols are just as prohibited as rifles. There are still a few in country in the inventories of the retailers. There will probably continue to be a supply regardless.

And gangbangers will get real guns and shoot each other even when the last replica or registered firearm is smelted into slag.

Rumour has it that he's looking into getting a supplier to supply clear receiver pistols. I forget where I read that though.

Shirley January 7th, 2009 10:10

I believe he still does. The one's on the "IN STOCK" page.
I heard he's trying to get clear frames for the pistols now?

Even more of a reason to make airsoft pistols legal, to thin their numbers. I would rather have a drive by shooting with bb's than bullets. Cops don't have to call their hits.

So the pistols that are on 007 airsoft are not actually for sale?
Because all the non-clear rifles say NOT FOR CITIZENS.

bbchiller January 11th, 2009 17:17

I have been away from the sport for about 6 months now, and I went to 007 to see if I could buy a new aeg. then I saw not for civilian, and clear AEGS. can someone tell me what happened, or more importantly is there anywhere left in Canada to purchase non goofy looking clear guns? I have looked around and don't see clear answers to this. like I said I have been away for quite some time. I even thought about getting rid of my p 90tr... I'm bloody glad I didn't do that. Does this mean airsoft is on the tail end of the golden era?!!!

get age verified and buy lots of non-clear guns at ASC

Erennert January 11th, 2009 17:27

Your only options are to buy a Gun with a clear receiver, other wise known as Cansoft, or get Age verified, and buy off of the Classifieds.

bbchiller January 11th, 2009 17:46

oh man. this is a sad day for me. nothing against classifieds here at all, but it seems like it is basically a count down to when all the original full colored guns go kaput. With that being said, there doesn't seem to be that great a selection of clear guns, for example if I want a TM famas, or mp5k I am screwed? and do to lack of supply does this mean prices are going up on the used stuff? sorry I feel like a noob all over again.....:(

The only thing Toronto is the center of is Canada's problems. Good thing I am north of it.

Not really. There's still a decent amount of full colour airsoft guns coming in but:
a) You'll have to pay more
b) It's pretty much all through the classifieds here

That plus the selection of used guns here makes finding anything you want quite easy.

L473ncy January 11th, 2009 20:14

@ BBchiller:

Mopic sells full black guns. Try that avenue (although it would help if you had age verification).

Otherwise the second option is to get AV'ed and buy through one of the private retailers.

well I guess I will finally have to get verified. Seems like the only option. thanks a lot for bringing me up to speed guys.
