what mag for kraken?
i have a kraken ak-47 and i want to get a better mag for it.and i was wondering which mag i should get.
o and p.s i dont like mag's that shake in gun. |
Well anything that's TM compatible, So literally anything you find. The mag you have is called a High-Cap, Sounds like you want a Mid-Cap or a Low-Cap. Cap mean's capacity, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you can figure out the rest.

Unless he means mag wobble, that's a tad tricky to get rid of.
yea i do mean i dont like it when the mag wobbles.anyone know if tokyo mauri ak mags wobble?
All my mags wobble in my gun, some more then others. It's just an AK thing.
My brother has these mags for his AK-47. The only problem he had with ONE out of the FIVE he got was one of the pins was slightly loose, and I think he just kind of painted over it with a paintbrush to get it to stick, and you can't even tell. Definitely very good quality mags.
5-Pack of Full-Metal Mags from King-Arms, 70rds. Cost you roughly 100$ at your doorstep. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=912 |
Hell if you don't like that little bit of wobble you should see a real ak. that'l make you cry.
If the mags wobble, put 2 layesr of electric tape on each sides and it should be fine.
All mags wobble a bit in my Type 56. It's rather the norm for most AKs. As long as they feed fine, there's no problem.
i dont know if it can help but i have an ak47 element metal body and i get less wobble with ka plastic mags than with star ones, so maybe your best bet is ka

Note: this is on my TM body and might not be the same for kraken, but should be the same.
Ive found a solution a while ago to the fix the mag wobbling. -on the video, go to 4:10, and you will see a small part come out of the receiver. This is the piece that the mag clips into. http://www.mechbox.com/ak47/ak47-disassembly.html - I used some electrical tape and put some on the lower lip that the mag edge clips on, and this will fill the small gap. dont use too much, as the mags might not fit. use your common sense as to how much to use. As for the Hi-cap, I have one, and use it among my 8 other mids and lows. I like it for like a last stand or heavy firefight. Other than that it makes too much noise and I hate winding. cheers simple fix |
I've bought packs of MAG brand AK-47 mags, in both 100 round and 140 round capacity (140 being the longer RPK style mags). I don't know about you, but I like to reload, so mid-caps (like the ones I mentioned) are perfect.
on another note, I use 3 Tm lows, and 5 KA mids 105 rd (king arm) mags, and have had no probs.
so do you have to wind up mid cap mags???

no, if you did they'd be hicaps. you feed the bbs into the mag and a spring pushes em all out. to feed the gun
so where can i buy mid cap mags?

http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...&cPath=117_120 Unfortunately as of right now, all of his are sold out, but you can pre-order them if you wish. You'll only need 1 speed loader typically per game. Most people prefer the King Arms M4-style speed loader mainly because it holds more, and it looks like a mag. Personally I have the smaller King Arms one just above it. Some people say the smaller one breaks more, but I've yet to have a problem. If you don't get a speed loader, you'll be pushing your BBs in your mags with a pencil one by one. |
