Aftermath Broxa Evolution upgrades?
Hi,
I was wondering what upgrades give more range and FPS? Could a certain type of inner barrel or even another MechBox help. Because im finding that I need a bit more FPS. Thanks for any help and please don't flame me for being 14 I love the sport as much as many of you guys do. Geoff |
Yes you can put in a tightbore barrel and a new spring.

Thanks for the reply do you know where I could get these items in Canada?

you want more fps... may i ask why... the broxa is already shooting 380-400 witch is more than enough! consider a good quality inner barrel like prometheus 6.03 and a good quality hop up rubber with these two things your broxa should have more tight groupings , might want to consider a prometheus m110sp sring and bearing spring guide for improved fps consistency
go check at www.airsoftparts.ca edit d'ahh they dont have prometheus inners this one is great too http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=460 i have one in my jg mp5 and it performs really well! be sure to shoot heavy bb's to get maximum range and accuracy , i'd say minimum .25g best .28g |
The reason I want more FPS is so I thought would have more range to the BB. Thanks for the suggestions do you own a Broxa or once did?

broxa has the worst hopup ive ever seen. Replace the hopup and keep the same parts and you will see that it is more than enough to hit 100ft targets.

Yah I've noticed the hop up is a bit weird how do you ajust hop up on a TM MP-5 is it the same on the Stock Broxa

Good parts -like the hop-up, inner barrel, an BB weight/quality- will do far more for range than FPS ever will. EDIT: Actually, that wrong. I was thinking "accuracy", not "range". |

i did it
i actualy run an aftermath broxa
i did do a lot of mods to make it runs smooth!!! and have a tight regroup! on the broxa 1st the air nozle have no seal you need first to replace it with an seal equipped air nozle. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=764 secondo the gear original shimming is completely absolutely (crappy). http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=676 http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=880 do replace your piston and piston head beacause the piston is verry weak especialy if you want to run a m110 spring. and the piston head dont talk about the seal (crappy too) http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1377 http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=780 ho an important thing a sorbo pad i did hear that these gearboxe's are a little fragile http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1354 for me i did run the stock spring and its doing the job perfectly a bearing spring guide ... of course http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=759 i did have a missfire problem with it and by replacing the tapped plate everything was fine. http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=754 the stock motor is very good but make sure to tight the little alen bolt on the pinion gear beacause its loose from the manufacturer (little tip) anf finaly the hop-up rubber very important i do run the original hop-up but with a hop-up rubber it run's very well http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=867 i did replace all those thing beacause i have sme serious problem whit all those parts so im just telling you by experience i love my gun now and since i've been change all those parts i shoot about 30 000rds and absolutely no problem not even a glitch i go to every event and its an acurate fast and reliable gun but .... with a little mods in it have fun !!!! |
