Crosman Stinger S34P shotgun on sale at Canadian Tire

Just to spread the good news : the now famous Crosman Stinger S34P tri-shot shotgun is on sale at Canadian Tire beginning today.

72$ + taxes instead of 120$ + taxes.

I got one even tho I already have a shotgun, just too good a deal!

Matty1020 June 12th, 2009 17:26

this and the regular single-shot one are probably the only good walmart/can tire guns available. I'm gonna go check that out sometime...

Doombringer June 12th, 2009 17:55

Are they really worth getting ?

72$ +tax is still 72$ +tax

They're tri-shot shotguns, TM clones.

Yes that's a good price. How cheap are you?

Doombringer June 12th, 2009 19:15

Bah it's just that I dont want to buy something that I won't use because it's a pos. How are they compared to the ones they sell at Wall Mart for like 23$ ?

edit: and yeah, about being cheap, the only other forum I go is redflagdeals ;)

smurata1 June 12th, 2009 20:26

They're not too bad. Pretty close clone I'd say. I used the internals from one of them to fix my broken TM SPAS 12.

;)

They're TM clones of the M3 that shoot 3 BB at a time at 260-270 fps with 0.2g and use TM shells too. So they are far from the walmart shotgun.

Plastic is cheaper of course but they work very well. In CQB you are on par with other shotgun/GBB users with this thing.

Hope the promotion will last for tomorrow then I will grab one even I alredy had M500.

Check out the online flyer at canadiantire.ca. You enter your postal code and get the valid flyer for your region. The shotgun is pictured in the flyer (at least in quebec). 40% off on all crosman airsoft.

Edit : just did a check with an Ontarian postal code and the shotgun is in the flyer. Dunno about the Eastern coast tho.

Run because I visited 3 canadian tire and managed to only get one. Other were out (or never even had one).

Crunchmeister June 12th, 2009 21:43

What are people bitching about for that price? Jesus man. Shootsoft have been selling these for $120 US now since they were released and have a hard time keeping them in stock.

Styrak June 12th, 2009 22:20

Not in my regional flyer. They're not even stocked here.

oOMuDOo June 12th, 2009 23:15

in my area the sale is on until the 18th June.
Stocks are low. My location only had 2 in store (minus mine *smirk*)

get a rain check i guess. if they dont have stock.
The dudes where ... we dont have it. Im like man I check the online stocks ..said you had.

They had 2 in the back locked up in a sports cage.

Its almost as comparable to the TM M3... worth it for 71$ ... but not much higher.

sixb0nes June 13th, 2009 10:31

Thanks OP!

Picked up the last one at the London South location (Wonderland). Should be a fun project gun for a noob who wants to tinker.

Redflagdeals follows me wherever I go!

Which one you went to so I can avoid the trouble of finding which one dosent have any... ?

L473ncy June 13th, 2009 12:46

Doombringer:

Just go to the website and check if they have the shotgun "in stock". Hopefully their stock reflects the website.

I wouldn't dare tinker too much with it. I opened mine yesterday to paint the clear pieces and the plastic is pretty low quality. Around some of the screws the plastic is cracked. Has no effects on usage or durability once it's all assembled but too much screwing and unscrewing will break it I think.

You're telling me! Here's my luck after a few test fires:

Malice Army June 13th, 2009 15:16

sand the area abit and brush on a couple coats of fibreglass resin (found in automotive@CT) once dry the plastic will be substantially stronger and make sure the weak area that is cracked is strengthened. Sand it down smooth, apply choice of paint.

ShelledPants June 13th, 2009 17:57

So, I bought one last night to go to TTAC3, as my only other gun right now is an m14...

Fucking awesome little gun. Works just like the TM, but has a way stronger pull on the spring. Shouldn't be shooting too hot, but I had a couple o guys I hit pretty close center mass and there was cussing and doubling over. Not something I'm used to. So this is my new favorite sub $100 toy. I'll be buying some more shells this week and building a breacher. :)

So far I've sawed the barrel down to be equal to the shell tube (and in turn removed the orange cap), I've painted the clear OD and left the stock black parts black.

I've found that I REALLY like the texture of the rubberized parts (the foregrip and pistol grip). My arms, I won't lie, hurt after a 4 hour game with this gun. It makes you feel like you're a man. ;) Stop bitching, go buy one, best gun under $100 by a LONG shot.

oOMuDOo June 13th, 2009 19:13

please post yours painted.... guys.

I still have to paint mine. Id like to see how you did it.
I have not yet decided how to paint mine.

http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums...?topic=53939.0

follow this guide and remove ONLY the foregrip and the rear pin to take the whole pistol grip off.

NOTE: For the left side of the foregrip, of the three screws, it's only the middle one, you'll know what I mean when you get to that step.

Then, mask the black areas of the gun with masking tape, then spray like any other gun. It worked really well.

I'll post a pic later when I get my usb cable for the camera.

ShelledPants June 13th, 2009 19:27

Here's a quickie shot with the sawed barrel and od paint. Took about 20 minutes to do (including dry time... lol)

Hmm. I think I might get one for parts seeing as the main part I need to fix my TM is 60 bucks + shipping from HK. Definatley worth it.

surebet June 14th, 2009 19:56

Picked mine up earlier this afternoon, thanks OP. If anyone is the South Shore region is looking for one, they still had 16 at the St-Bruno store. My advise would be to call and ask them to physically verify that they are still in stock.

Also ask someone to fetch one from the back if none are on the floor. There might not be any left because the kiddies also passed the word around.

capitalairsoft.ca also has the stocks available, though I picked up the last retractable one.

i got the leapers (probably some utg stuff) they work great

Jixton June 17th, 2009 21:55

Crunchmeister June 17th, 2009 21:57

UTG, DE, TW, whatever. They all feed just as well. I have UTG shells, fired hundreds of shots without issues.

jamuke June 19th, 2009 20:03

CT coupon save $10

got my 2nd one with the $10 OFF father's day coupon good June 19 and 20,
a handful of CT $$ and my gun cost $63. Now that's a deal.

scurvythepirate June 19th, 2009 21:51

Im looking at getting additional shells for my friends gun. There are some at ebobbyasia

I know there double eagles, but with shipping and currency exchange they are still cheaper than the ones at capital airsoft

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/double-ea...as12-6pcs.html

Silverthorn June 19th, 2009 22:01

Interesting to note :

I have disassembled mine for painting. While it was in piece I sanded the cocking rods with 300 sand paper (metal rods that push the piston) and added some white lithium grease in their tracks. Shotgun is MUCH easier to cock now. Totally worth it.

It disassemble more or less like an M3 so look out for M3 guides to know how.

ntomec June 20th, 2009 09:53

damm the sale is already done, ive been meaning to pick one of these up,

Shell-holder, witch one? The TSD, Crosman or the Marui?

1) TSD 4 shell's (comes with the shotgun)

2) Crosman 6 shell's
(I picked up from WGC a long time ago)
its made by KM i think. there is no velcro on it apart for the back side near the sling loop to hold it closed.

3) Bellow the Marui, It's a blackhawk velco shell holder.
it comes with some cross draw vest or it available from blackhawk ind. I think.

SGT_Blaster June 22nd, 2009 16:23

Very nice top clean

How munch the stock cost you for the crosman ???

theguy June 22nd, 2009 18:17

I think capital airsoft has one for like 60 bucks, But he said he salvaged his from an old TM

Reckless June 22nd, 2009 21:52

what kinda honest range are people getting with the crossman? I'm picking one up either way .. is landing bb's @ 150ft too much to ask of this springer?

You could probably even just ask them to pull the stock off something like this http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=3864

Although, by the time you add shipping, and maybe the 10 bucks they will charge you for labour, it will probably end up costing you ~75 bucks

Speaking as one of those guys who got hit in the "center mass", wearing three layers (a sweater, t-shirt and a "wife beater") it hurt waaaay more than 270 fps. And it left paintball sized welts on my torso.

And of course, not being an AEG or GBB Mr ShelledPants was playing it Gangsta' style sideways....

Strelok July 25th, 2009 23:41

Just got my M3 today. It's got a crack in the front of the receiver... But it doesnt seem to be much of an issue, i tried flexing the pump/barrel and there was no movement in the crack, might've just been bumped around too much in the packaging.

The thing doesnt come in vacuum wrap like most crosman guns, its actually fitted inside a nice box and a foam cut out. Comes with a pair of manuals, The gun itself, two shells, a crappy sling, Crappy .12s (Shot them at a wall... they literally 'splattered' against the surface, very soft) and a cleaning rod.

As soon as I got it, myself and a few buddies took it outside to fire it... The first few times i've noticed that the gun will load up to five shots at a time rather than the three. I'm assuming that the gun takes too much out of the magazine per pump. The gun shoots relitively well. I might've gotten a lemon, but i'm not getting some good groupings with it that people've been preaching about. Sometimes it'll shoot pretty low, then decent, then all over the place. and i'm using good bb's for this. But, it shoots where you generally want things to land. and i'd be using it for nothing more than CQB stuff.

The pump is pretty hard to work, it 'will' tire you out unless you slick it up, which I still have yet to do. As for the sights? Don't really bother using them, just line up along the barrel instead. The rear sight is really low, and it would be too much of a hassle to line up properly while shooting. Kills a lot of your feild of vision.

I'm gonna do more testing tommorow, and i'll reveiw with a video for you guys.

I retract what I just said. If it's for a Marui M3, it will fit the Stinger.

Reckless July 26th, 2009 01:37

I've got the rain check for one as they were out of stock locally (friend I play with got the last one) .. we played side by side with his new crossman and my 'old' TM super 90 m3. the crossman appears to shoot harder, but the tm is more consistant (even with my mix load, and him with Bastard .2s )

I'm gonna do all my fun mods and such with the crossman ... when the crossman goes boom I'll transfer the bits too my TM so I have the stock bits as back up and if I ever go to sell it ;)

Hey does someone know where i could buy a Smokey's vertical front grip for the Crosman Stinger S34P...every website that used to sell these are out of stock for a long time.
Or any vertical grip for the shotgun that doesnt require a lot of change to the gun.
Thanks

i just got mine... its well worth it for what i paid... i strongly recommend picking up extra shells... shop around a bit first though... i got mine from a guy in tampa... cost of the gun + shipping + shells (got at air gun source) came out to about 130 ish.... which i think is a bit better then 119.99 + tax... its a solid gun though... plan on using it as a primary for the odd game... my poor mp5 is going to think im cheating on it.....

Yes. I've had one of the shells which came with the 34p break on me (the spring guide died...) but the TM's are holding true.

So... the guys that are buying these. Will you paint guns to make them look better or leave stock?

pipefitter316 October 3rd, 2009 19:17

my shottie just broke after about three months of hard shooting, the spring broke the plastic in the back of the gun, very sad to see her go

I got mine painted awhile ago, looks amazing now.

Works pretty good, mostly my friend has used it. Got a few kills with the sucker.
Just takes some getting used to.
And I do believe a guy on the 28th game I was at, had one. Got kills too.
Just takes practice and different play style.

pusangani October 5th, 2009 09:49
