AirsoftGlobal.com, anyone deal with these guys?

I've found this HK website, Airsoft Global, I'm looking to buy classic Army M24 magazines. I've never heard of these guys so of course I'm somewhat skeptical.
post here or PM any experiences you've had with these guys

I've bought from them, the only problem I've had was they tend to list a much lower price on the invoice for customs so they dont charge you so much for tax, but customs caught on and held my stuff till they got a 100% value invoice. Now when I order form them I ask in the message section of the on-line order form for a 100% value invoice so customs don't hold my stuff for 3 weeks again.

I ordered from them alittle while ago. No problems at all, they did list things cheaper than what I paid for them but it caused no problems for me. I got my stuff in 6 business days.
One thing I noticed and liked was that they clearly put on the invoice that everything in the package was "toys", which they were, but my package got here fast and did'nt get opened at the border.
I really like the company and it's one of the first places I look for the stuff I want. 2 thumbs up!

I ordered a complete AK gearbox, had absolutly no problem, good customer service, fast shipping. I also ordered AK Mags and no problems eithers.

Airsoftglobal is a great company that has some rare stuff, and low prices. I've ordered from them multiple times with no problems. I will say that they do misprint their customs invoices which is dangerous, mostly as "R/C Car Parts", but again, I love their stock.

Am I the only one who's having trouble with left-hand menu? It doesn't seem to work.

Just had a buddy using firefox have that same issue.

Use IE or opera, and it works fine.

I've just ordered from them some stuff that is hard to find otherwise, and now that wgc only does wire transfers from canada, these guys will get more of my business.
I know people that have ordered from this place and have had excellent turn around times with minimal hassles.

aznpos531 June 22nd, 2009 13:33

Yea I use firefox. I guess they dont like fire and they don't like foxes :(

A great company with fast customer service response time compared to other Hong Kong Sites which usually take 3 days or more to respond

These guys tend to respond after 1 day and they do not write in "engrish"

I bought P90 mags from them before and told them they did not feed well but did not have any means of shipping back to HK since normal means to ship is $50! which is almost the same as me buying the new mags so they offered a discount for my next purchase

When you guys ordered from AirSoftGlobal, approximately how much more did you have to pay (ie. custom and duty fee) on top of the item costs?

surebet June 23rd, 2009 00:43

I love them. They hold the record for fastest shipping time in my five years here.

Cheap shipping too.

turok_t June 23rd, 2009 00:45

How much was shipping/tax/duties and customs?

$24 from Fedex on a $1000 order.

ujiro June 23rd, 2009 00:49

I have to disagree with the cheap shipping unless I am missing something. Went to order 2 GBB mags, and the cheapest shipping they had was $37, and that was surface with estimated 8 weeks delivery time. Regular post was $50, and speedpost was $55...

Doesn't seem very cheap to me.

Edit: wait, I was mistaken. It actually only cost ~34 for regular parcel, and ~37 for speedpost. It saved cart contents from a long time ago, so it was actually close to $200 of parts that were in the order.

So thats pretty good shipping prices.

turok_t June 23rd, 2009 02:04

Did you guys have to pay additional duty fees when the mail man came to your house?

Sim123456 June 23rd, 2009 07:22

Not that I can remember.

hotrodthug June 24th, 2009 02:59

The u get the standard shipping for ~$30?

Con Murder June 24th, 2009 04:48

Anything with an out of country origin will have GST applied by the CBSA based entirely on the bill of sale. That is what we have termed 'duty' and run to the boarder shops for 'duty free' smokes and shit.
I worked in a postal outlet and had many crazy experiences with parcels of all sorts. A guy sending knives and throwing stars to Australia actually got them back!
From time to time, a regular customer would recieve a parcel with no customs fee from a supplier outside the country. This was random at best, maybe karma. Anyway now that you have brought this sight to my attention I'll check it out.

TokyoSeven June 24th, 2009 15:13

Ive been ordering from them for a long time, while I dont agree with their shipping rates and options I do enjoy the variety of stock they carry. I purchased a few parts yesterday and choose fedex as shipping. The parcel is already in country, in city ,on route for delivery to me. Customer service and communication have always been satisfactory.

Stupideye June 28th, 2009 12:59

Sorry to threadjack, but would this Classic Army wood kit be compatible with the G&G M14?

Thanks.

The Saint June 28th, 2009 13:03

Should be, CA copied G&G's M14 design.

Stupideye June 28th, 2009 13:09

Yeah, that is what I figured, just wanted to confirm. Thanks.

hotrodthug June 28th, 2009 20:53

Got the mags yesterday, they arrived on Friday about 4 days from Hong Kong to Ottawa, customer service was impeccable, packed the mags up pretty good, I'll buy from these guys again.

Sorry, it has nothing to do with AirsoftGlobal, I just wanted to know if they were the same since it directed me to the same website.
