Confirmation for items coming across border

Hey guys, my friend is going to Hong Kong and he is willing to pick up a few parts for me while he is there. I've done alot of reading on the CBSA and posts regarding items that can/can't be brought over, but I just wanted to confirm that these items can make it across the border without any problems because I dont want to be wasting my money. So here they are:

Prometheus EG Barrel 363mm
King Arms Reinforced Outer Barrel (14.5”) with Chamber Block
King Arms L300 Visible Green Laser Sight w/ Throw lever Ring
King Arms Remote Pressure Switch for King Arms Green Laser
King Arms Rear Folding Battle Sight
M4 Carrying Handle
Hurricane 556 Holosight

Thanks for all your help! I appreciate it!

all are OK, may have some problems with the laser but I'm 99% sure it'll be ok as well (depending completely on radiation output)

Rather then start a new thread. I have a friend looking to order a wood kit for his m14. Would that get across?

I'd wait for someone who's experienced this first hand, but I recall my team mate having serious issues with getting wood stocks for the m14. I may be mistaken.

Will likely have problems with the cbsa agents thinking it's illegal but an M14 wood kit is 100% legal to import.

So, If it gets snagged just call/mail or just get back to them?

If it gets seized you can dispute it (argue) And it will eventually get to you, May take a month... may take a year...

Kool beans, Thanks I'll forward the info. Nobody in Canada selling wood though for an m14 I don't think so it's something he'll have to do.

Anyone else have anymore feedback regarding my original post?

Mitchell12 July 11th, 2009 21:53

Yea it's all fine.

Do you have a valid source of information on that one? Can't seem to find anything about it. ):

rustysniper July 14th, 2009 18:25

Check Marstar for Real Steel wood kits...can be modified to fit most airsoft.

Yea... but is that hard? I mean I'm pretty handy but I don't have alot of woodworking tools.

IceTray July 14th, 2009 18:42

Is it just the woodkit that can cross, or can any m14 receiver make its way?
I've done a little woodwork, but I'm not sure the extent of modifying a real one for airsoft.

Rock 'N' Roll Outlaw July 14th, 2009 18:57

I too had in mind to get a Norinco wood stock and stick my G&G M14 assembly in it, but the work involved (the biggest aspect though) would be to drill out a 1 - 1 1/2" diameter hole in the gooseneck to accommodate the motor. The only problem is would you be able to drill out the gooseneck enough and not make it so fragile that it would crack when you grab it by the neck as thats where you will place your hand 90% of the time when handling.

I made a thread asking this in the Upgrades and Modifications section and have not gotten a definitive response on the matter as no one has yet to try that yet.

ujiro July 14th, 2009 19:13

Why not try and reinforce that area after you've got the hole out with something? Some metal, or something along those lines?

To OP: As most have said, your stuff is fine. Did it make it here yet?

Rock 'N' Roll Outlaw July 14th, 2009 19:18

Thats what I was thinking, but until someone actually tries this its all just hot air coming out of our asses. I will hopefully get around to trying this when I have some spare cash Id be willing to throw away for an experiment but that wont be until I get my own place here.

ujiro July 14th, 2009 19:20

If I were an M14 user, I would give it a try. But, don't got one.

Rock 'N' Roll Outlaw July 14th, 2009 19:31

Now you know what you gotta do laddie....BURN THE HOUSE DOWN! BURN IT ALL!

....I mean get an M14 and try it.

ujiro July 14th, 2009 19:40

Hah. I will not be your test dummy. A destroyed Norinco M14 stock is a lot of money thrown away :P

Only the receiver part with the serial number is restricted which is, on an M14, the metal part that fits in the wood stock that houses the bolt and rear sight. And honestly what would the point be to restrict a cut and shaped piece of wood.

IceTray July 14th, 2009 20:40

Well since this thread seems to be guaging the legality of importing peices, basically looking into doing an entire custom built M14, and so far I believe the only part not coming over the border is the bolt house with the number (and possibly mechbox because people have been having problems with them lately)

Only thing restricted is the receiver, Down side is.... have fun finding one in canada........ for the mechbox, I'd just ask them to remove the trigger prior to shipping as I believe that is what's throwing the not so smart cbsa agents into thinking it's a receiver.

IceTray July 14th, 2009 21:27

Yea, the m14 itself isn't a widely available gun, let alone its prohibited parts lol. I've successfully taken over this thread, my bad ;P

okay, if you seriously want to get into airsoft get yourself your own account and then get yourself verified and you can browse the classifieds(tonnes of guns). now a sniper rifle as your first gun? most people on here if not all will say NO and won't let you play, because of you being a NOOB sniper. start with a AEG and then work your way through the different classes. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything but most of the stuff you've listed can be found either in the classifieds or (insert Canadian parts website here) I'm saving you before you get flamed. start a account get verified search the forums for reviews and do/don'ts , then the classifieds for something that would let you play

UJIRO: Yes, all the items arrived safely! My friend actually put everything in his luggage and just brought it over from HK-->China-->Toronto without any problems. I got all my parts and I didnt even have to pay any shipping costs.

And i have no idea why that guy above has posted in my thread re: the parts he wants

Leeroyjenkins August 27th, 2009 14:46

Well first off all..

well first of all I do have an aeg and I've had it for over a year now Like I said My AK-47. So second of all I said Im a kid and cant get age verified. third of all I am working my way up. From 2 pistols to a shotgun to aeg now another aeg and a sniper. Im just wondering If I could get a tactical vest and bb's into canada from USA. SO I am not a sniper noob thank you very much.
Plus I cant get age verified so I cant look at the classifieds

Trapper1 August 27th, 2009 21:12

If you add up the cost off shipping and shit, it would be cheaper to buy gear and bbs in within Canada.
