will a mako charging handle fit on a ksc glock

looking for a charging handle for a ksc glock 34.

wondering if there is an airsoft version or if the mako will work
http://www.natchezss.com/Category.cf...rging%20Handle

yeah probably should be in accessories, if someone wants to move it

CDN_Stalker September 22nd, 2009 10:11

Wow that is lame. What's so hard about cocking a semi pistol? And why would you wnt one on a GBB?

R.I.T.Z September 22nd, 2009 10:18

i've seen them on the CAPS shooters guns, but in practical field use? the slide locks back no need to cock it...

as for if it fits.... contact the company and ask them if they would know... most of the time manufacturers know where their products fit

ratnest September 22nd, 2009 10:23

the reason i want it is because between the docter clone and the thumb rest, there isn't much room to grab the back of the slide, i'm trying to make my g34 look like a race gun.

and yeah contacting the company would probably work. thanks for advice.

and on a field gun i agree it is pretty dumb.

R.I.T.Z September 22nd, 2009 10:24

yeah so like the caps guns. they yeah understandable. good luck man i'd love to see some pictures when its done. never seen a glock sports gun :S

CDN_Stalker September 22nd, 2009 10:25

I just grab the entire slide to rack it, but sounds like you have other in the way mods on it. I think I have an idea what you are talking about, in which case, I guess the T grip would be handy.

Danke September 22nd, 2009 10:57

The idea behind those is that if you're shot, down an arm, and your weapon jams (must be a Monday) you can clear the stoppage and continue to fire.

There was a bit of a flap in the 70s with Princess Anne when that very scenario played out during a failed kidnapping attempt.

MikeMcNair September 22nd, 2009 11:17

i wouldnt get one of those simply for asthetics. plus, if you put that on, you can't put THIS on.......

(which BTW is one of the best "mods" i have done, super fast draw, and easy to install)

just my .02

CDN_Stalker September 22nd, 2009 11:34

Ok, THAT is cool!

MikeMcNair September 22nd, 2009 11:55

thanks! i LOVE it. easiest way to carry inside the waste band, and for ~ 10 bucks you can not beat it!! it fits the KSC's with no modifications too!! on my TM, i had to drill out the back of the blowback unit, but it was easy.

seriously, it is the best mod to date IMO, and i will do it to my real steel as well.

it's called the "clipdraw", and again, it goes on the KSC glock series with NO modifications!!!

CDN_Stalker September 22nd, 2009 11:57

Where exactly did you buy it? Have an online link (in case you want to spoonfeed me). Lol

MikeMcNair September 22nd, 2009 12:57

make sure you get the GLOCK one, cause they make a few. i was a little off on the cost, they are ~ 24 bux, but still, the best mod i have done to date!!

spoon fed sir, you are. :-P

Thanks. I've spoonfed many hundreds of guys over the years, good to have it returned. Lol

Sucks, that source doesn't ship outside the US.

MikeMcNair September 22nd, 2009 13:40

so, have it sent to me, and i will mail it to you bro. it is a real steel part for almost all GLOCKS, so they are all over the place.

here is the direct order.......

http://www.clipdraw.com/store/index....on=show_detail

they also have a SICK safety for the trigger (if you guys have real steel glocks. i will get one of these for my RS G27......

sorry for the hijacking of the thread

ratnest September 22nd, 2009 22:48

as cool as that is, it looks better on guns as small as the glock 26.

anyuone know if a ksc glock can take real steel slide back plates? since that is what he mako handle replaces.

and if i get a sub compact glock, i might have to get you to order one of those for me mike, very sexy.

If you have frame mounted optics, or even melt-in optics, it makes it more difficult to grab the serrations. Adding a cocking handle like this makes it much easier to rack the slide without having to figure out a way to grab on to the tiny areas of slide left exposed. You'll typically only see cocking handles like this on open division race guns used in IPSC, IDPA or other types of similar practical shooting competitions.

MikeMcNair September 23rd, 2009 09:14

to the OP, thanks for the kind words, i love the clipdraw!! the KSC read plate does indeed easily replace with the RS version, so you will be fine with the install of the cocking handle.

in fact, the clipdraw comes with a plate as well, which fits right in my KSC G26c. on the TM, the rear plate is infact not a plate at all, but rather part of the blowback unit, so i had to drill the pilkot holes for the screws to be able to mount it. took me 5 minutes, not a big deal at all.

ratnest September 23rd, 2009 09:38

thanks mike, you made my morning,

MikeMcNair September 23rd, 2009 10:40

no problem, there is a guy named "junior" on airsoft-barracks dot com that has a sick KCS G26, and he was the one who confirmed this information for me, so i cant take all the credit. :)

i am a member of 6 different airsoft forums, so i troll TONS of threads, and have learned a ton. not to mention the fact that i have had 5 KSC glocks, and 2 TM ones, so i know them in and out.

ratnest March 5th, 2010 01:51

necroed because i finally found a company to ship one to canada for a semi reasonable price.

http://i788.photobucket.com/albums/y...ock/g34008.jpg

had to file a little piece on the inside down a bit to get it to fit with the blowback unit, but other than that it works perfectly.

it's actually the FAB defense model found on www.israeli-weapons.com
