Most Memorable Moment of 2012

Hello fellow airsofters,
Well with the end of 2012 soon here it begs the question, what was your most memorable airsoft moment of 2012?

I will start with my first game with my M60E4 and our recently formed team. Another moment was getting two mercies with that same gun.
How about you?

Non airsoft related: Those dumb 12/21/12 rumors.

Airsoft related: Starting airsoft and going to my first game :P.

The 'Gaijin Charge' (gaijin means 'foreigner' in Japanese slang)
Jogged slowly around the outskirts of the enemy team, for some reason, nobody knew if they should shoot me or not simply because my rifle was slung across my back EVEN THOUGH I was double-fisting two pistols. I moved behind the enemy team (about 40 strong) and took out 11 of them before I took a few rounds to the chest and leg. Got a round of applause from a group of about 10 folks standing on the third-floor viewing platform for that one.

Running my Stoner 63 for the first time and realizing how big of a rape machine it is.

Most memorable airsoft moment was rolling up in an armoured technical firing an M249 mounted to the turret while the truck was blasting "Welcome To The Jungle". Happened repeatedly that day and at no point was it any less awesome.

Playing in an old boarded in abandoned mall runnimg down always with all the lights shut off, smoke everywhere and suddenly comming face to face with this.

I ran away and hid on a toilet holding the door closed, the sound of his steps stoped right in front of it. I could hear his head turn and see the red lights on the wall across the hall then back to the front as he kept walking and looking for more humans. I thought for sure he had found me. That was 20 min into the game that lasted 6 hours

Partying in Chicago. Too bad Op. Irene got in the way of a perfectly good time. But MUTC Indiana was cool to visit again.

Airsoft related: Finally pulling my TM Socom MK23 off the gun wall for the first time in four years and putting all the rumours to rest. I can still drop an entire team with it.

Non-airsoft related: Higgs Boson, The discovery of organic material and water on Mercury.. Shit is getting real.

"discovering" Finche's field at Rockwood, and running about 8 games there is past season. Jumping in to WWII Airsoft, Founding a WWII unit, Researching and training WWII combat methods. Seeing the fruits of my labour

Myself and several others shooting the hell out of Karma from DoubleTapTactical in the dark. He was on our team and had just come back in to regroup with us. When we saw a dark figure approach we all got down in the grass real low, and I gave him the night challenge "which was ginger - loaf". Ya ...he didn't know it. Which was funny because his team came up with it. Long story short; he got shot by a whole bunch of people at the same time, and swore vengeance.

Most memorable moment was the hour-or-so that I came back to ASC after a couple years, and saw the massive price drops in the classifieds.
The "holy crap, $200 for an M4" was quite memorable.

Going to Ultimate Airsoft for I think the 2nd time and finding out about that secret door at the corner of the bunker only to come behind a 3 man fireteam. Unfortunately they noticed me first.

But non-airsoft related, being there when my daughter was born a month ago.
