well since where pulling screenshots from old threads
https://i.imgur.com/wrCkDtm.png lakonian says that he is with the company that owns the BBB name now and that a new to BBB factory is being used, matt says its the same old factory that was used in 2015? before BBB shut their doors. whos right? and if lakonian is really involved in the ownership of BBB now, he was told that his new stuff is crap and not worthy of carrying the BBB name. |

I did a burn test, the BBs burn differently. The new ones melt faster and char black, they smell sugary when burnt. The old ones melt more slowly, forms a crust, and the char is turns black and then white. Smell is like burnt plastic/electronics. I also did a heat test. The new BBs have a lower melting point and begin to bubble on the surface much sooner. They are also much softer at the same temperature. The old ones begin to deform at the seam and bubble much later, the bubbles are also bigger. They are also not as soft at the same temperature. Here is a video of the heat test. I staggered the old and new so that uneven heating wouldn't significantly bias results. https://youtu.be/D5ePYI-g3RM |

Here's a burn test, you can obviously see that they react differently to flame as well.

Juuuuuuust to play devil's advocate (I know you probably checked this Z), both batches (new and old) are the same type of BB right (bio/non-bio)? I didn't see any markings on the bags indicating one or the other.

Their website lists .3 bios and only lists bios: https://tieronearmamentstore.com/collections/airsoft
There is literally nothing the same about these BBs, they didn't even bother to package them in the same sort of bags and by count instead of kilo. |
im just gonna point out again one of the threads pestobanana linked and the screenshot i posted
lakonian the "business relationship manager" said in this thread that they are not using the same factory that original BBB used. https://airsoftcanada.com/showthread...=193906&page=2 |

Two hours in acetone
https://i.imgur.com/Mjvurvb.jpg Four hours in acetone https://i.imgur.com/3HgABIg.jpg New ones cracked and broke apart but remained in solid chunks. Old ones got stuck to the eachother at the bottom of the container and turned soft and squishy. So is Mav gonna admit that he's full of shit now? |

Seriously though, the only thing that really matters is what the new owners of BBB will say/do faced with the evidence. |
