Question about EoTech 556 and 557

I am thinking of getting either Hurriane Eotech 556 or Huang EoTech 557. Which one is better and what are the differences? Are there any better models?

Would the following magnifier compatible with either models?
4x Magnifier

If I was buying one right now I'd do one of two things.

1) Get one of the XPS3 copies. It's the latest and greatest, takes up less rail space, and uses a single transverse battery so less fiddly.

2) Comb through the sales threads and get a real one. The reticle and glass on the real ones really is that much better and it is worth the trouble.

just happen to be looking at this at work today:

will possibly consider it in the future.

My spoons big enough.

Hurricane externals are noted to be higher quality than that of most asian clone items. Keep that in mind when considering buying something, cost usually does reflect quality. Although it has been noted that a person should stay away from hurricane internals.
However just between you and me spending 200 dollars on something that's for airsoft is a little to much, considering you can buy some lower and middle end real steel red dots sights for much less.

As for what the difference is, I think you can use your eyes and google to determine what the differences are between a a 556 anda 557.

There are hundreds of reviews about these sights online so why dont you go google and youtube a few to help you make an opinion.

As for the magnifier, is there any reason you can think of why it would not compatible?
I'm sure it will be fine as long as you have enough rail room. Honestly if you had a grand laying around I would recommend the real steel 557+ magnifier combo. Its beautiful.

That is a good find but if you read the disclaimer it ships direct from EOTech to the lower 48 states so I don't think it'll make it across the Maple curtain.

You can get a real 512 (552 without night vision) for $480ish or cheaper in Canada.
