Help finding smock / pants
Hey everyone.
I wouldn't be posting this if I hadn't done a massive Google search, so here I am. About a year ago I stumbled upon a very unique company manufacturing a combat smock and pants set for around ~$300. They were a European based company (I belive German, though I could be wrong). The smock was very well built and had a number of very unique features, same goes for the pants. I need help identifying them, because for the life of me I can't find them again. Identifying traits Smock - Based on the SAS Smock by Arktis - Two molle panels, at waist level, were normally there would be two pockets. - Pistol magazine pouch on the right sleeve near the hand. - Radio pouch on the left sleeve near the hand - Came in a rainbow of colors and camouflage (Notably Flecktarn and Tropentarn, but also Multicam, Coyote, Tan, Olive, and Black) Pants - Magazine pouches in the cargo pockets - Elasticated band to hold the cargo pockets close to your leg to support the weight of magazines in the cargo pockets. - Kneepad pockets Thanks to pug144: http://www.claw-gear.eu/index.php?op...d=38&Itemid=43 http://www.claw-gear.eu/images/stories/smock4.png |

Those are so fricken cool!
Actually found this because of the recommended use to waterproof the smock on the Claw site: http://www.nikwax-usa.com/en-us/acti...&item=CLOTHING I might buy a container of this and try it out on my DropZone Recce Smock. Previously I wiped it down with the retreatment cream used for Austrailian oilskins, but I like this stuff better, just wash with it and it impregnates the material. Neat idea. |

MEC... and I think all the guys across the sreet (On King st.) sell it too. Works wonders... been using that stuff for years. Shame you can't get it over here though : (

MEC has it? Excellent, there's one in Ottawa.
BTW, the origin of the link I posted was a European site, so likely they'd sell it in Italy as well. |

I've always wondered if the gear actually exists in Cadpat, I know they say they do it but it'd be good to actually see what it looks like.
