Anyone recognize this early 90's mp5?

An astronomy friend of mine said he picked up this MP5 in Japan back in 1990. Anyone recognize who made this? He said it run's on "flon" gas which through research appears to be a second gen gun running off CFC.

Probably a JAC. Does it hook up to an external air rig through a hose in the pistol grip?
