A&k Masada short barrel
 

ok my question is simple. iv e mailed some retailers who sell the short barrel for masada but its out of stock been that way for a while, and i have gotten no responce from them on a eta of the item being instock. so my question, is this part even still being made or should i just give up now?

Probably discontinued.

Magpul PTS took control of the A&K Masada rights, and they probably discontinued pretty much all the parts, planning to "empty the market" for their own PTS ACR which should be coming out soon (at least I believe so, I could be wrong).

You could always try contacting Monda International or Waterloo (those who designed the Masada for A&K), I bought my barrel from Monda and RIS kit from Waterloo directly (but that was before Magpul took control, so they might not be available anymore).

I thought i herd that a diff company was making masadas and magpul shut them down and gave the rights to A&k??

Waterloo designed it
A&K produced it
Magpul threatened them of legal action if they didn't do what they asked.

So A&K sold what was left of their production with an officialy licensed sticker and "trades".

That's pretty much it.

A&K was going to release a RAS handguard, a 18 inch barrel and a PRS-style sniper stock as well as an AK-compatible receiver, but Magpul's intervention pretty much screwed all these plans.

Who's going to produce the Masada now? PTS?

Probably, IIRC G&P still makes them...
