problem with Mauser k98 bolt
 

Hi All,

This is my first time doing this so pardon me if I don't follow the proper etiquette.....my son just got the Mauser K98 airsoft gun and we're having trouble with the shells/bolt. Without any shells in the gun the bolt closes fine (a little stiff because of spring) but once a shell gets into the barrel we can't get the bolt closed. The bolt stops about 1/4"-1/2" before it gets fully in so it can't be closed and locked into position for firing.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

probably something jammed in the chamber/barrel push an unjamming rod through and then make sure there's nothing in the chamber. If that doesn't fix it, either your doing something wrong or the chamber/bullets are mishapped/bent
