Shipping From Out of Country. (not guns)

I wasn't sure if this should have went into the FAQs section but i just wanted to confirm that shipping things like accessories such as Vests, Pouches, Mags, sights (Holo) and other things like that will be able to come through the border with little to no trouble from a place like airsoftgi.

please and thank you for your answers

Also if you must know yes i'm actually underage i'm 16, want to/will be airsofting with my brother, for "Supervision"

Only Guns, receivers, handgun frames and handgun slides smaller than a certain length (including barrels) are restricted. Mags with fake bullets and suppressors are VERY likely to be kept but can be fought.... though for the little that would be saved buying out of country, it's not worth the legal fees.

Everything else is fine.

There are a ton of retailers. Do some research, we aren't going to spoon feed you.

Just look up reviews on the site ex airsoft gi

HERE's what you can and can't bring in, ugh if only people read FAQs or searched the forum

Okay, so I can’t import guns. What about parts and accessories?

Yes. The good news is that most parts and accessories, including most magazines, can be successfully imported by individuals without requiring a BFL. Examples of things you CANNOT import:

AEG magazines with fake cartridges (i.e. P90, G36, SG 552 mags)
Frames, receivers, and metal bodies
Suppressors and silencers
Prohibited-length outer handgun barrels (i.e. USP Compact, Glock 26)
Hand and 40mm grenades that look real
Examples of things you CAN import:

Magazines for AEGs and GBBs without fake cartridges
Outer barrels for most guns
Inner barrels of any type
Handgun slides
Flash suppressors
Scopes, red dot sights, iron sights, lasers
Rail systems and scope mounts
Springs, bushings, gears, pistons, or other gearbox parts
Batteries, BBs, loading tools
Helmets, goggles, body armor, tactical vests, camouflage

Note that CBSA inspectors have discretion to detain goods of questionable legality, and although it shows up on the above list it MAY be held if you draw an inspector that is particularly ignorant or of foul demeanor. That said, I have yet to hear of any seizures of the above items.

Prohibited-length handgun barrels may or may not be stopped. Most outer barrels are not dimensioned internally to even appear capable of firing a real bullet, and faux rifling marks typically extend only a few millimeters down the bore. However CBSA inspectors are not firearms experts and if they think there's a potential of it being usable in a real gun, they'll seize it rather than risk their jobs. Best not to take a chance on it.

Its all in there....... I seriously think we should put a link to the FAQ on the front page in BIG LETTERS or on the signup/register page.

Clothing such as BDU or boots and equipment like vests and pouches generally are not an issue. Although I do not believe airsoft GI deal with or ships to Canada. As stated above items like magazines are importable unless they have fake rounds that are visible. There are certain items that are export restricted however I do not believe that this will be an issue for you since they rare, extremely expensive or military related niche items that have no use in airsoft.

I know a couple people that buy from airsoft gi, just not sure what they use to ship it.

bbbb July 19th, 2010 15:44

I'm going to be purchasing WE SCAR GBBR Mags from Evike.com. The rep over there told me they would be confiscated...

They have no fake bullets so is he wrong? Will it be ok if I order it from there?

Thanks a lot
