I am thinking about getting a WETTI AWSS M4 GBBR

I am thinking about getting a WETTI AWSS M4 GBBR GEN III
But I can not decide between the CQB version or the regular version of the two variations avliable

combine this handgraurd
http://torontoairsoft.com/product.php?id_product=435
with this barral
http://torontoairsoft.com/product.php?id_product=434
to make one gun without having to by both of them

basicly I am asking what M4 R.I.S hangaurd fits the the regular version? or what standerad sized (I think 14inch) M4 barral fits the CQB version?

Gunny_McSmith July 24th, 2010 18:56

Battery? what for?

It's a GAS BLOWBACK RIFLE (gbbr)

Generally real steel parts fit on the WE M4.. AS parts may not

ex July 24th, 2010 19:00

I have a WE M4 and I purchased a second Upper.
One upper has the Standard 14.5" barrel and the KAC style RIS
The other upper has a DD Mk18 Mod1 RIS II (socom gear)
So yes you can run that RIS with that Barrel. Just buy the WE version its very well made.

Wait !?!, WETTI is Still WE:confused:, so WE parts work on the
WETTI GBBR
or is the WE M4 differant from the WETTI M4
(what a noobish thing of me to say)
ps sweet gun

AWSOME thanks man
so are the WETTI m4 a newer version to the WE M4
or Is the WE M4 version outright better
also what parts are compatable with both/either

Rugger_can July 24th, 2010 19:53

Get age verified and contact the retailers who sell them. The newer WE's they are selling are the most recent iterations of the WE System.

There is a very high parts commonality between the different "generations".

who101 July 24th, 2010 22:52

let me put another way
say a R.I.S hangaurd made by a manufactioner other then WE, will it still work on this gun, witch company's parts are compatable with this particular gun

will any of these work on this gun?
if not than witch ons will?

No, AEG parts generally don't work on a GBBR (definitely not barrels).

Go do some research on AEG vs GBBR.

Lets not go there... there are already several this VS that threads

he asked about a WE lets give him info about what he asked for..

kolumbo69 July 25th, 2010 13:40

So if he hasked about a CAS gun eveyone would tell him to save and buy a full metal, I only gave him another more viable option in the gbbr world.

Also most said AEG front ends with modification will fit a KJW

posilon July 30th, 2010 23:35

i have the cqbr.
IMO. treat it like a baby, clean it well after it shits BB's.
no powder though, just clean and lube.
research RE: maintenance.
