Top m60

I haven't seen that gun in ages, is it still around? If not than did any other manufacturer make a version of the M60? Always been my dream to get one

Amos July 26th, 2010 10:42

VFC or Inokatsu is what you want..

TOP has never created a game-able AEG that didn't require EXTENSIVE work.

Doc July 26th, 2010 10:47

Ares/Star made one, and i believe they still do, but its all plastic. sold mine as soon as i got it.

A&K Makes a half decent one, mostly all metal, but i hadn't seen them for sale in canada in a while.

Huge July 26th, 2010 10:49

Oh yeah, silly me. Forgot about the Inokatsu (probably because I'd need to sell my house to buy it haha). So the VFC one is reliable?

Vince1 July 26th, 2010 11:09

An Asahi one would be better then the VFC but it'd be more then the Inokatsu if you could find one

I have an A & K VN M60. Affordable and performs great.

And Submarineman was selling one brand new for around $900 CAD shipped (still pricy...). Don't know if he still has it in stock, sometimes he does have gun in stock that are not shown in his sales thread.

aZn_triXta07 July 26th, 2010 12:17

TOP is still around ...well their stock is still around you just need to know who to contact.

Unless you plan on making a M249 GBB then there's still other alternatives ... if you can source them, the China M249s are impossible to get nowadays so you are left with Classic Army.

ThunderCactus July 26th, 2010 12:59

Spend 2000$ on a TOP M60, spend another 1500$ to get it working, now you have a crap 3500$ MG
Alternatively, spend 3000$ on the VFC and win win win :D lol

How did 249's work their way into this thread? lol G&P FTW!!

Kid July 26th, 2010 14:35

They also make an M60E3 and M60E4.

...Go Inokatsu!

Funny I spent half that amount and my top m60 outperforms most highend aeg's. But now after 7 years and about 500k bb's she need's a tune up....

there is no need for 1500$ of upgrades.... just a decent barrel ( about 100$), and the ANGS cylinder(250$) and a few other small parts(anout 100$) and your set...

Kid July 26th, 2010 16:33

But it's still a plastic gun that you can't carry by the carry handle because the build quality is shitty.

ThunderCactus July 26th, 2010 16:55

I've fallen on my plastic G&P box mag twice and it hasn't broken yet :D

Amos July 26th, 2010 17:56

Yea.. but you also weigh like 115 pounds wet lol
