Best Lipo for Magpul PTs UBR Stock????

I have this one my gun. rear wired, currently I have the batteries taped to my stock. haha. None of the lipo's I have will fit.

I'd prefer a 7.6 stick for the buffer tube. bu tI can settle with an 11. The gun's built to handle it.

Has anyone pulled this off? which battery? and are you able to screw the cap on?

A link to the battery I need would be perfect.

Thanks

Shawn

I do believe the UBR is a propriotary buffer tube. So I'm actually hoping to hear form someone who has used one of those in this specefic buffer tube.

i use a firefox 11.1 "SHORT" lipo in my ubr. there's evven enough room for an alarm. king arms short lipo stick is the same size (by dimensions I bought two of the fire fox so i've never actually used the king arms).

I have thread on this on ASM somewhere i think it's "buffer lipo that doesnt suck"

Firefox 11.1 1000-1200mah, 12c
Kong Power 11.1 1000-1200mah, 12c
Flightpower 11.1 800mah 30c

All of these fit. I currently have a ammo pouch on my stock and running a 11.1 2200mah. I got a pile of sample batteries from a manufacturer

EDIT:

You don't need to remove the stock from body to insert the tri panel style batteries.

There is some discussion about batteries as well. I agree with Hunterseeker5 and Skag187, Buffer Lipo just does not provide nearly enough power or "right" umpf that a quality brick style lipo does. Ideally a 25-30c buffer lipo is what we're looking for and the don't exist.

I like that. I think I'll try drilling a hole into the compartment.

Which battery is that? and will it fit entirely in the stock or do you need to leave it open?

Hey,

Something els about Lipo's a question that is. I was looking to use them as well but my question is, how many rounds can shoot before you need 2 change them?

Fubar.

Depends on many factors like type of spring etc. but those lipos are only about 900-1200 ish mah and the typical cycle life of one charge is about 1 mah per shot again depending on your setup.
