hey guys needing some help, pistol stoped working today and i think iv narrowed down the problem. it looks like the arm that pushes the valve to release the gas isn't engaging properly, the trigger pulls fine and the hammer cocks back and seems to be working fine just not putting enough presure on the part that pushes in to the mag,

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Yup, your valve knocker is probably broken. Happens often after a while with Sigs.

Get one of these:

If you don't know how to install it, get a local gundoc to do it. I can also do it for you as I have experience with the Sigs.
