Magpul masada acr came yesterday
 

Just came yesterday! So far it feels nice - very well balanced, unlike the RS version which is front end heavy. Comes with one black 120 round PMAG (would have liked the windowed EMAG with the fake rounds.) Haven't gotten to try it out yet, except for the back yard. It runs well on a 7.4v/1100 MAh lipo. Next weekend is the Airsoftcon, and I will get to try it in anger there.

is the other lower available yet?

At first I thought it was going to come with both so you can use m4 or ak mags then heard it wasn't :(

Nope... only the base gun is included.

Of course you'll have to pay for every single addon, and there won't be much "non-PTS" addons, IE any non official will be prosecuted so Magpul PTS gets as many of your $ as they can.

Yeah, I think PTS are being patent/copyright bullies. That being said, I'd still wait one :D

The other parts are not released yet and estimate is December or later. They will be:

10.5" CQB barrel
11.5" AK barrel
AK lower
Railed handguard
Folding stock

There were 100 MASADAs released to the US so far. It's going to be the typical "not enough at release time" until they get more from the factory.

Is the gun around the same size as a Scar? or is it as big as a M16

yesterday I held a Scar for the first time and nearly fainted when i saw how small it actually is. I always though it was as big as a M16.

BTW what was the cost on this?

what about the folding stock version

The $480 is the minimum price set by the distributor, at least for the first batch.

I've been told by someone in the know that the Magpul lower will not be compatible with standard AEG AK mags, they will be proprietary.
