www.technologydirectcanada.com

i was recommended to this site by some members on here when i was inquiring about what kind of radio to get and where to find it.

the thread is here http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=109500

i contacted TechSeller on the forums here and he directed me to his site, and also made some recommendations for me, so i could get what i needed and within my budget

the site is easy to navigate and is not airsoft specific, although it does have an airsoft section

i was not interested in the items there but was actually looking for getting a radio and headset. there was a good selection, ranging from some good motorola gmrs/frs radios up to some high quality puxing radios.

the site gives you a point system, you earn points for every amount spent and then on your next order the points can be redeemed as a dollar value to save you a couple bux, also when you just open an account you already get $5 in points which you can use right away.

the site does have a free shipping option, so that is a great bonus

after shopping around a little bit on the internet and on ebay, the product TechSeller recommended to me, and the price i could get it off his site could not be beat, especially after i got the instant $5 off from the points.

through out the whole time i had been PM'ing Techseller with questions and comments and he had been very helpuf and quick to reply

i had placed my order on sunday night for the radio and headset, the package was shipped out monday morning, and i recieved my tracking number that day also.
the package had arrived already on tuesday for me.
it was well packed in a sturdy box and had some crumpled up paper around the contents to keep them from getting damaged during shipping.
also in the package was a free pen with the site logo on it and a sample of a fogtech anti fog wipe, nice plus as i had ended up using the fog wipe at the FR game this past saturday and it worked great, might order more of these till i get a thermal lens.

overall the site is great, good prices, great customer service and communication from Techseller, free shipping option, and accumulate points to get a discount on your next order.

the motorola radio i ordered now will be good for a while, but i know as soon as i get some more money i will be going back to the site to order a much better UHF puxing radio.

i know others have ordered from/dealt with techseller, this would be a great time to chime in, so that maybe more people can be aware of where they can get their radio's.

Not to necro an old post, but I recently spent a whack of money with Technology Direct and wanted to post a review.

I came to Frank (TechSeller) not sure of what type of radio setup to buy for myself and my guys, but his recommendations were bang on. He is courteous, professional and kept us well informed every step of the way - even when things were backordered and the order couldn't be fulfilled all at once. He had no issues with special requests, such as creating multiple receipts (one for team stuff, one my personal stuff) and happily exchanged an item I wasn't 100% satisfied with.

Buy with confidence. Frank is good people!!

Ordered an Acoustic Tube Earphone Kit on the 31st.

Received it yesterday on the 4th. That's extremely efficient!

Received exactly what I ordered as well.

I'll chime in since Frank and Technology Direct are great.

I'm not much of an online ordering kind of guy...I prefer to message/speak/see the person and handle the things I'm buying.

I also have an extremely low tolerance for any vendor selling something but not knowing anything about that item. I may not know everything there is to know about a particular item...that's why I'm looking to buy it from someone who does.

To that end...Frank is a stand up class act. Nothing but good comms/info/follow-up so far. To a reasonable degree, I can expect to forklift a lot of the compatibility research and what works for this/that/other off to Frank and he hasn't disappointed at all so far.

$$$ spent so far...will spend more. Extremely reasonable pricing...and any markup over what I could get it for from some anonymous e-bay guy in another country is a small pittance when I factor in the peace of mind and familiarity of dealing locally and face to face.

At the end of the day I just want to buy what works without raising my pulse...and Frank's made that happen with a trunk load of radios, mics, batts, etc...

+1 ditto with Tyson.

I've only made 1 purchase from Frank but I will definitely go back. I reserved a Puxing radio that he ran out of at TAC11 and got it a little less then a month after the event. Had a little trouble with the radio but he kept in touch with me helping me figure out what was the issue.
Excellent customer service, excellent pricing, great guy to deal with.

Also did a one radio order with this guy, yes it was on back order but I was patent and got the product and I’m happy with the customer service (from e-mails).

Just got my Linton this past week. Awesome radio if I knew how to work it! Still in the middle of researching all the gmrs frequencies. He;s quick and efficient.
