Rewiring to front possible?

Kinda of a noobish question probably, but I was just wondering if rewiring a battery from the stock to the handguard is possible. If it is, how easy is it? Is it expensive?

Should've mentioned it's a G&G GR16 R4 Commando. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That information is needed since different guns are wired in different ways. Rewiring a ver.3 is dead easy but a ver.2 requires the mechbox to be opened. There are two normal ways to route the wires in a ver.2 and if the gun came rear wired then it needs to be cracked open and probably some soldering or wire length adjustments need to be made.

This should be a piece of cake for any gun doc and if you want to do it on your own I believe there is a video tutorial on mechbox.com

*Edit*
Here it is. The tutorial is for the opposite, going from front wired to rear, but its easy enough to reverse it.

I have the same gun, and I asked the shop owner in my area the same thing. You need an "H-harness" to do it. If you want to put a different stock on it, then get a small stick battery that fits in a stock tube (I want to put a MOE stock on mine thats why I asked). If you want to see a review its here:
