Latvian camo : where to find ?

Hello people.

The question today is simple : do any of you ever came to see the latvian camo for sale ? I have a WE G and I'm going to custom into a KV, so I told myself : Why not making a BDU just for this little guy ?

But it seem I can't find them...

Official Website of the Camo : http://www.brasa.lv/

I suppose you could email them regarding how to order.

I found that site already but they don't answer, so I hoped some other sites may have some, I found every pieces I need for the G36 but the camo is a pain. I know they used 3 color desert BDU before but the new one is wayyyyyy better, in my opinion at least.

From everything I've read, there's no clone, nor can you purchase the real stuff from the manufacturer.

... it blows.

Although Brasa makes the camo, in order to purchase it you have to obtain permission from the Latvian Ministry of Defense. They own the patterns, style, fabric, and camouflage. http://www.mod.gov.lv

Ask on FA... I'm pretty sure someone in Europe will be able to help you out.

It does look pretty nice.

Not even... I think the point of getting the correct Latvian camo and wearing it with a G36KV is to do an impression (Latvian, to be exact). Vegetato isn't even close.

Ninja, any updates on finding any/getting permission from the government? lol

Ninja_En_Short December 23rd, 2010 04:50

I honestly haven't even tried that :D

I have contacts in a lot of European army and just when I need a new camo, I lack the good contact.
I could do an M90 but they use the old KV version and B&T doesn't make the RAS anymore.

Obviously the 3 color desert BDU would work but I don't find it nearly as beautiful as the new one...

I still want the KV anyway, too much regular versions out there ! :D

Nice to see some people are doing Latvian impressions, being Latvian myself! It's such a tiny country I am surprised anyone notices!

Ninja_En_Short January 10th, 2011 20:43

Well to be honest I input "G36KV" in google image to get pictures of the KV3 version and saw the picture I put in the first post.
Fell for it at first sight, something completely uncommon, I can only like. :D

May be small, but the military has... I'd almost (hestitantly) has common sense, I know it's rare for bureacracies, especially military ones, but the Latvians seem to realize that they're a small country and need to be organized and effective.
