TM Glock 17 FRAME issue

Hello folks,

I'm having some kind of trouble to find information on changing the TM G17 frame to a Guarder one.

In AirosftBaracks.com there's a guide to FULL TAKE DOWN the Glock 17, but when it get's to the frame, total FAIL, some pic links are broken and it's not well explained the whole process to disassembly and reassembly it.

So, if any good samaritan could post a tutorial with pics showing how to do it, I'd be thankful. :D

You only posted it today. Be more patient and wait. Those who do have the answers will answer soon enough. They have their own lives to deal with.

I have a pretty good idea how, however, I have no experience with aftermarket frames, so if the mag catch spring isn't already in there, I'd be getting stuck right around then.

But... I'm going to leave this to someone who's actually done this with a Guarder frame. Yes, there are people on ASC who have done this that can help you. Someone will get to this thread sooner or later.

I've done it once so far. I've got a completed Glock 17 in a Guarder Frame. I can try to put together instructions for you when I get the chance.

...unless someone can get this done sooner.

A word of warning if you are Canadian and haven't ordered the frame yet, it's the restricted part of the gun so there is an seizure probability.

I'm from Brazil.

Where's Racingmaniac and Qlong, I think they know.

Racingmaniac and Qlong, where are you?

I'll post a video, it will be up within the hour.

Done. Post, if you have any questions.

Great video Qlong! Very elucidative.

I just wonder how the trigger plate goes into the rear trigger mech.
Is there only one hole, but there's any trick inside, or just putting it there will solve the question.

I saw that you put it in place turning it a bit, and then going to the corret direction.

That's my only doubt.

Thank you!

Qlong to the rescue. In video form and sooner than I could write one up. Glad someone was able to help as I couldn't seem to find the time.

The way I do it is line up the trigger bar (with trigger installed in front half of inner frame) with sear (installed in rear half of frame). Then fit them into the frame at the same time, adding the trigger bar return spring thing at the last second.

I can't quite figure out how Qlong does it that way, TBH. I find doing it that way too frustrating, though maybe it comes with practice?

BTW, nicely done, Qlong. Great clip for use by anyone with reassembly questions of the TM Glock series.

I made another vid for your question. :) I hope this is what you are asking.

Refer to the video by the specific time for easier reference next time.
