Bearings - Double Oil Channel?

Hey,

First, sorry if this is in the wrong place, I thought I'd put it in the noobitank because well, it is a question coming from a comparitive noob :P

Okay, so the question is is there any real difference between the Modify 6mm Bearing Bushings and the Modify 6mm Stainless Steel Bushings - Double Oil Channel (here for links http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1370 and http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=676 ).

To me the double oil channel would make more sense to be better, but it is 10 bucks cheaper.

This will be part of my first foray into upgrading an AEG, so any help is welcome.

ps. its going into a Broxa :P

Bearings are.... bearings. A plain bushing is... just a bushing.

The difference? One moves, the other doesn't.

The one with bearings has an inner race that rolls along ball bearings against the outer casing. This results in smoother, longer rotation, with less startup energy required.

A bushing is just a fixed (solid) component.

Go with the bushing, more reliable, won't fall apart on you (like bearing ones tend to do depending on the brand of gears you put into them).

Basically, if you don't know what bearing bushings are, then you shouldn't be using them. They require a greater deal of care.

Ahh, thank you. Always good to ask stuff and find out that one crucial word :P
