How's the G&G M14 Max?
Sup guys,
G&G has brought a canadian m14 , under name MAX , known also as Version. 4. It seems to be a pretty good gun for the price (570$). I had a G&G M14 veteran before, it seems to be better than the veteran. What you guys think? Reviews also says that this gun is damn accurate. http://www.canadianairgunsupply.com/...black-max.html |
If you're getting an M14, TM is the only way to go.
Have fun finding magazines, replacement externals or compatible internal upgrades for anything but the TM. If you don't game, want something to ocassionally shoot in your basement or to hang on a wall.. Sure, go for the G&G... but any experienced player will tell you the same thing I did. I've bought and sold over 5 M14s, I've got first hand experience working on SEVERAL (I'm one of the only techs that'll touch V7 in Manitoba) :) |
i'll comfrim what hes saying i'm primary person to work and repair v7 in calgary thjere no better design then tm!
|
Could replace the insides with G&P V.7 ? but at that price would be better to Buy TM...
|
No.
G&G uses a proprietary system. |
Is G&P proprietary as well?
|
Nope, G&P is TM
|
So is the design better than TM?
|
Mmm I don't like their switches as good as the TM ones.

G&G M14's internally are the same as Classic Army. Both at hard to find parts for. I've got three G&G M14's in my shop right now with fried trigger switches (common in G&G M14's I've found) and I can not find parts, even CA parts. Everyone who lists trigger switches (very few at that) all show as out of stock.
The Canadian distributor does not offer any parts support so I'll have to fabricate components to do the necessary repairs. Mags for G&G and CA are the same, but are incompatible with TM and clones. |
