Flashlight to Strobe modifation
Ive always thought strobe flashlights where increbably usefull, but I cant will me self to drop a hundred bucks on one. I was just wondering if any of you have found a way to modify basic LED flashlights to allow a strobe funtion.

Bingo above! Lol
But there are a few flashlights under $100 that have strobe feature, just a matter of looking them up. I know some hunting flashlights have strobe effect plus really bright output..... |

I have this flashlight.
The construction is not very solid but it's bright enough for CQB and very cheap! |
a while ago at costco they had a 3 pack of small flashlights for about $25. Pretty sure it was 180 lumen, had a low, bright and strobe, as well as a low battery indicator. Ive used one whenever I do pistol only games and its great, fits great in my hand, very tough, and for the price I couldn't really ask for more. Only issue is that the battery life was fairly low, but with three in a pack and the low battery indicator it never has been a big problem. Ill do some searching and see if I can find them again

+1 on the Costco flashlights. They are great for the price.

Have one of these with a drop in throw reflector & convex lens on RS back home for lamping foxes & rabbits etc. will illuminate out to 150-200 yards no bothers.
http://www.dealextreme.com/p/ultrafi...-1-18650-16516 Stock should be plenty bright enough for airsoft, possibly even too bright. You have to but the charger & 18650 batteries but thats only another $15 max. |
