KSC UMP vs KWA KP45 Help

Hi Forum, racking my brain here trying to make a decision, and I thought you experts might help me.

I have decided to acquire a new GBB pistol and have paired it down to one of these two:

Ksc usp .45 S7 (Taiwan version) OR Kwa KP45 ns2

What are the differences?
which one would you buy?
Why is the ksc over $100 more?

My main criteria for a pistol are:

Quality build
Quality replica
Domestic Propane/Green Gas
High FPS
Accuracy

Hope you guys don't mind helping a noob make up his mind.

Thanks

The KSC is $100 because of the name, and bit more QC. May also have correct trades on it, not sure.
Also, by "ump" I think you mean "USP".

Either would be a good choice.

KWA all the way, have a Match and had no problem,I think the best brand for GBB's,pistols.

KSC = KWA

Same stuff, different markings. KSC uses realistic trades, KWA says... "KWA" all over the guns. Mags from KSC System 7 are compatible with KWA New System 2, and vice versa.

If you want realistic look, get KSC.
If you don't care that it say KWA, Made In Taiwan all over the gun, get KWA.

I have 2 KSC pistol (Sig P226R, M1911A1) and a KWA MP9 subgun. I love them all. :D

I'm seeing that the fps ratings are a bit higher on the kwa is this possible or are they rated based on different propellants? Is the KSC built for domestic propane right out of the box? I read that ksc is built for duster like TM.

I'm so confused?

From everything I've heard from KWA and others...(generalizing a bit) KWA is KSC US market rebrand. They also purport to strengthen and beef up some parts to take GreenGas/Propane vs. their duster rated counter part (that was their party line when I asked about the MP7 models). Comparing the nozzles/piston cups/etc...that seemed to be the case.

KSC models are very nicely built and very accurate in detail. KWA's look like a "clone" of them. Finish, goofy trades, etc...

For many of the pistols the KWA versions shot incredibly hard right out of the box...some pistols hitting 400fps on hot days. They shot that way right up until they beat themselves to death (either blowing pistons or wearing out parts). There is something to be said about running a gas gun within it's operational parameters and having it last a long time.

You can certainly take a KSC and "upgrade" it to be whatever you want. Some KWA's are just great (minus the finish and lack of real trades) out of the box. Other ones I wouldn't get without securing some spare parts to swap in for breakage replacements.

Personally, I'd go the KSC route. Swap out the plastic slide and a stiffer recoil spring if needed.

Ksc/kwa will run on propane out of the box, on 95% of the models I've seen.(and I only 95 because I can't guarantee there isn't one model that doesn't like propane) Trades are the only difference I've ever seen. System 7 and ns2 are essentially the same system.

They are marketed for different countries, hence the trades difference, and the countries' fps laws are different, so that's marketed differently as well.

I'm fairly sure that they are basically different subsidiaries of the same company. Like future shop and best buy ;)

The S7 and Ns2 are the same system but IIRC some of the guns mags are different depending on what version you have, and are not interchangeable with one another.

i think you're right, but model dependent... I'm pretty sure the USP model ns2/system7 is interchangeable....

I know I can take the OLD style USP mags, put the system7 feed lips on them, and they'll work fine... but radically different mags like the KJW USP mags won't even fit properly...

Just handed over the cash for the KSC. I hope the "You get what you pay for" principle applies in here. Thanks.
