Seller Torontoairsoft.com

I made an order from the Torontoairsoft.com website. The items were listed as IN-STOCK since you can't buying anything online if it is out-of-stock. Then when I didn't get a shipping notice I emailed them to find out why. That is when I found out it was not shipped because some of the items were not in stock. I say WHAT why is it listed as in stock and then they really aren't. I was told I had to wait a week but still nothing yet.

Just a heads up even if it says IN-STOCK doesn't mean that it really is, check first before ordering.

Cheers

online inventory for any store anywhere is never 100% up to date. call first.

PS the store is well known and trusted around here.

I second Tex. I've made 5 or 6 orders form them in the last two months. Every order arrived within three days. Great service from what I've experienced. I wouldn't worry.

Happy to hear they have a good rep, just a little worried that's all. Just never had that happen where listed as in-stock but it really isn't, usually it would be "call to order" listed. Tried calling but no answer but eventually did get an email reply. Thanks.

Cheers

Just got the shipping notice today with a partial refund. I called up to find out why the partial refund and someone answered the phone this time. They didn't want to hold up the order for one of the items that wasn't in-stock. So they just refunded one item and shipped everything else out.

There stock is low right now but when they have more stuff I'll buy from them again no problem.

Thanks Torontoairsoft/Velocity Arms.

VA is awesome. Sorry to hear about your experience but I'm sure you understand that not every retailer is a full-timer. This is a hobby for them too so sites may not be 100% up to date.

I don't know what I would do without these Canadian retailers.

Ive never seen one site/retailer/distributor whos online stock has been up to date without actually contacting them first and ive been dealing with em on a business level for the last 5 years.

As wrong as it is, its a reality of any online store, and something you cant really get around.

Call em up or contact them first before you send the money to ensure stock. If they dont have it after that, then it is 100% onus on the retailer.

Im currently dealing with a large dispute with Ebaybanned airsoft. I had confirmed that they had all the products in stock before the purchase, yet they lied to my face about it. The problem here is that they shipped me all the accessories for the product, but not the product itself and they want to only refund me for the product, while i get stuck with 20 useless customized for that product accessories.

Not all the retailers fault but maybe their suppliers. If the retailer puts in their order and it doesn't come in it creates a back log.

When you have a lot of money on the line in an order it is easy to get nervous. Especially when there is a lack of information on the status of your order. I was the one that had to go ask about the status before I was given information, no one told me. A simple email saying there is a delay with back log would have solved it I think. That is all I'm saying I guess. I just posted in-case anyone else hadn't heard about their order as well.

No big deal everything is fine now that I found out what happened and order has been shipped.

Cheers

They have been getting a lot of new stock lately so their inventory might be a little out of whack. VA/Toronto airsoft is one of a few trusted retailer here in the GTA and their inventory are probably one of the largest here too

I just placed an order with Torontoairsoft.com 2 weeks ago on Tuesday night at 8:00pm - order was in my mailbox 2 days later on Thursday.

I have never had a problem with them.

GSK88 May 18th, 2011 14:26

Never had a problem with these guys. Have done in person pick ups for GBBRs and ordered several seperate packages on multiple occaisions, all were exactly what I ordered and at my house within 4 business days.

Had a problem with an optic and had a reply within 2 days of emailing them. Great service and very friendly.

seeing as it's all good now.. maybe you should edit your first post to reflect that your assessment was not accurate, and that your issue has been resolved.

A very brief search on here would have indicated that this retailer is trusted and solid.

Did a search after I had a problem and found these posts and that is why I became concerned:

Not saying Toronto Airsoft can't be trusted, just posting my experince not trying to step on anyones toes or anything.

No disrespect intended

Cheers

Toronto airsoft is the shit, in a good way of course. Excellent people to deal with. Very fast and efficient. I live in Kingston and I ordered something at the movies on my iphone at around 8pm on a monday night, I had it in my hands Wed. Very good customer service.

I had a mess up on a previous order once and they corrected it very fast with no hassle at all. They are only human, slip ups can be made. That's life.
