Suppressed gbbs...

What's a good option for a suppressed gbb that isn't a 1911? I've found an adapter for a tm glock 26, but I just read recently that "barrel tilt" will be a problem with certain gbbs. I've heard that ksc usps are a good option but they have weird diameter threads and the usp tactical is kind of expensive. My price range is around 200 or lower.

I don't think you can go wrong with the KWA KP45 (USP), only $155 from TheWarStore.

This KP45 Tactical has a threaded barrel as well so you can rock the suppressor right out of the box: http://www.thewarstore.org/airsoft/p...as-system.html

Note that KWA uses the exact same system/parts as KSC. There are legally two separate entities now though. (Sys7 = NS2 = KSC Glock GBB design/internals).

PS: I hope you're not going through airsoft depot (AKA ripoff depot).

PPS: Also, I usually default to The War Store for people on the east coast. Supposedly they're pretty reputable and an overall awesome store.

Well what do you think about a tm glock 26 with that firefly adapter for the suppressor? Will a suppressor work for the g26? There's also the tm m9 with the nineball silencer adapter...

Where are you finding a G26 threaded barrel in stock? I've been looking for one halfheartedly for ages.

TM mk23. silent death. Nuff said.

The prob with anything GBB is you still get the clickity clackity sound. The TM mk23 is super quiet with the silencer on it and is very accurate because it is a NBB.

My main question is, are there suppressors that are too long or too heavy for certain guns?

Guns with a tilting barrel often have trouble using a suppressor without modification.

tilting barrel would be like p226 and glock, that excludes m9s? What kind of modifications?

I think a stronger recoil spring might help.

That can actually make the problem worse, depending on the setup.

Check out Lee's Precision Engineering. He makes lightweight silencers out of carbon fibre. They will have a significantly lessened impact on your slide.
