Cheapest MBUS you'll find !!

Hey guys, while "surfing the internet" I found these Magpul MBUS Replica sights for only 15.90$ !! I bet at this price with free shipping you can't go wrong !!

Anyone tried these yet ?!

Gunny_McSmith June 2nd, 2011 22:18

its missing the adjustment direction on the rear sight, something like: "----up----"

And looks liek they are some molding marks.... but meh... for 15$ shipped, nothing beats that :P

I'd say its good for people who just want that look but know they are never going to use them. for 15 bucks i'd buy it

Already ordered 3 sets but has been in pending status for a week.

Apparently they are also available on another site for $8

here are the cheaper ones. http://www.aliexpress.com/product-gs...olesalers.html

never dealt with them before so it's iffy.

mine are finally in DX 'packaging'. only took them a week and a half for a brand new 'in stock' item.

Yup, DX is really slow. Actually "In Stock" means they can order them from their own suppliers and ship them... I'm pretty sure they don't stock anything, hence the long delay before shipping.

When not written in stock, most of the time it's best to forget about it and don't even bother

Let us know how they are when you get them!

not complaining. it's expected and I have had orders in limbo for much longer than a week and a half. the delay could also been due to the retina melter of a flashlight that I also ordered. should be on a plane by the end of the week. will expect CP to take another 2 weeks to get it to me with the labour disruptions going on.

I'll let you know if it's good when I get it. lol I will say that it's in the xm-l emitter series and runs off 18650's.

Got a couple torch from DX, they're decent for the price. Most of them will "die" after a few weeks/moths though. It's hit or miss.

When it's not the clicky switch, it's just a bad contact, fixable. Or sometimes the heatsink (when there's one) won't do its job and the solder will melt on the PCB...

The emitters a good and bright though. One could reuse them.

I bought a 13 dollar DX torch that throws MUCH better than any other equivelant sized light at zombies game last week. (250 lumens on 2 cr123s) People who didnt see who was shining the light thought it was some crazy tactical spotlight or something. I could clearly illuminate whole trees at 200 feet. I think I just got lucky though as it's still going strong after 8 months of regular use.

currently looking for one that is compatible with a better quality tapeswitch (i've been through 2 already)

Update on these sights, got some not so long ago, good bang for the buck I'd say. Front sight was tight to get in/out but once they are installed a quick push on the top of each other would make them pop nicely. Great for the look, not the best for aiming but does the job.

The AFG's (1&2) and the Magpul slings are the real deal for what I could see. Also the Magpul RSA's. I have all these products from DX, they come in the Magpul packaging and are of nice quality. The MS2 sling is 9 bucks, the MS3 17, and they are both superb.

Fox.

I actually got one of these MBUS sights a while back and the spring and pin were pretty loose. Good enough for the price but there are better knockoffs out there.

ccyg8774 September 5th, 2012 17:50

I have got them from dx.com some time ago.
the molding of the plastic is not very nice, very hard to put in/out of the rail, and the pins are kind of loose.
