ca m24 mag wont go in magwell
 

I recently purchased a classic army m24 military version and the magazine wont go inside the magwell. Inside the magwell there is a brass thing close to the rear of the gun that looks bent. It is just behind where the feed lips of the mag are supposed to go. What is it and how can i fix my gun?

Your barrel isnt aligned with the stock properly. You probobly just assembled it without checking clearances.

should i take the barrel of the stock and re-attach it
